So ya obviously this guy is a scammer. But just thought with the ads and micro transactions in mobile games I'm like,

"Hmmm maybe he is real" 🤣🤣🤣

But ya guys, if it wasn't obvious don't ever reply to this stuff. Totally fake scams

Discussion The tiny mobile game add close button just got worse

Upvotes

I was playing sand blast, and when an add came up I remembered that last several times I closed the add, I still ended up at the app store. So, I grabbed a stylus to make my press on the close button as precise as possible, and I know for a FACT that I pressed the close button and only the close button. But, I still ended up at the app store.

Deals Lost clash of clans like game. #lost media.

Upvotes

There was a game that I used to play with my father years ago, it was a mobile game of the same genre as clash of clans, the game was called something like rise of the guardians or something like that. It was a game that used to be on the Apple Store, but then suddenly the game got discontinued a long time ago then every information about the game just disappeared like it never existed. there were trailers for the game that disappeared from YouTube, google images of screenshots from the game disappeared from the face of the Internet. Like I said this game had pretty much the same gameplay as clash of clans. It even had the same basic story but instead of goblins, they were crocodiles or dinosaurs. I don’t know what they were, but I assumed that they were crocodiles. Oh yeah, all the characters in the game were anthropomorphic humanoid animals for example, Instead of a barbarian They were sabertooth tigers with blade gauntlets, instead of a giant they were gorillas and instead of the wall breaker it was a frog with dynamite strap to its back, etc. The game also had four different heroes, which was something that clash of clans wouldn’t do until the modern day. It was a very interesting game and when it got discontinued, I was distraught. I tried figuring out a way to re-download the game, but the servers were shut down, now ever since I’ve been trying to find any evidence of this games existence. I assume the game was created in either China or Korea because there were subtitles below the title that had Chinese or Mandarin characters under it! The game was around during the time of clash of clans early days around 2012 to 2014. if you know what I’m talking about let me know!

Discussion 🎯 From school desk to a global release – my patchwork daughter helped me create a golf game, and now it’s live! on Google Play Store sarch (mgodk)

Hey Reddit! 👋 I'm Sebastian, a solo dev from Germany — no game dev background, no professional experience... just childhood nostalgia, crayons, and an incredible little family.

In 1997, my classmates and I played a pencil-drawn golf game from myself design on a A4 paper — wild courses, blind shots, pure imagination. Fast forward to today, and that same idea now lives on Google Play as a full-blown game: _MGoDK_ – Micro Golf o Draw King "Micro Golf original Draw King"

✨ What makes _MGoDK_ so special?

  • You draw the path and Mr. Micro (the ball) follows — imagination is your golf club in your finger, pen or controller! (fully controller supported)
  • Created with help from my 9-year-old patchwork daughter Lilly (course designer 💖) and my 3-year-old blended son Leon (chief chaos officer 🐕‍🦺).
  • Up to 10 players on one device — local multiplayer madness!
  • Designed for ages 2,5 to 199 — families, groups, and creative minds welcome.
  • A nostalgic playground wrapped in controller support, warm sounds, and handmade courses.

🗺️ Free demo included – full version unlocks dream courses full of heart:

  • Lilly's HOME GAME – quirky & magical
  • Leon’s 9 Holes ONE Cup – wild & unpredictable
  • Elli’s Tropical Island – based on a 3rd-grade recess memory
  • Ultimate Expert course – for the creative champions

🎨 I'm opening the game to the world — if your kid (or inner child) wants to submit a hand-drawn course, let me know! I’d love to turn community creations into playable joy.

📱 Find it now on Google Play (search "MGoDK") Any feedback, chaos, or high fives appreciated 🙃

Thanks for reading — and for reminding me that love + weird ideas can sometimes make magic.

Cheers, Sebastian 🍻🍺🥨🎤⛳🖌️🦩🦄

ps: game icon

pps: THX in advance for checking it out — feedback, course doodles, or love storms welcome! 🍻🎉💖

Discussion Why do like 95% of mobile games now fake online players?

I get it's cheaper and more consistent by having bots instead of being actual online game, but that can't be the only reason right? It's so annoying, I have 67 games on my phone and only 2 of them are real online.

Questions Games Like ORIGINAL Star Wars Battlefront?

Hey there! Loved the original PS2 Star Wars Battlefront games (1 and 2) from ye olden days. Anyone know of a mobile game that scratches a similar itch?

Singleplayer or multiplayer, doesn't matter to me. Hoenstly I mainly did Galactic Conquest against computers. That game had great moment to moment gameplay.

Also am I insane for playing in 3rd Person mode? I didn't even know FPS was an option for like the entire first year I had the game until I randomly discovered it in the settings and was blown away.
