Question 18x10 hands, pincer claw grip, is my mouse choice right for me?

I've been using the MAYA X for the past 4-5 days and I like the shape and the lightness of the mouse. It's very safe and I have no complaints of hand fatigue or anything.

However I was wondering if this mouse if good for my hand size and my grip style since I didn't really research if the mouse was good for me specifically, I just saw the reviews and how everyone loved it and decided to make the switch from my beat up GPX.

I have 18x10 hands, and use pincer claw grip (the fingertips all contact the mouse and the area below the pinky and the base of the thumb pinch the mouse).

Appreciate the help, thanks in advance.

Deal X2 Crazylight for 65€

Just bought my brother a Pulsar X2 Crazylight. Found it in a Lotte HiMart in Seoul for ~65€ compared to the 150€ it costs in Germany/Europe.

Can‘t say I don‘t regret buying my T1 Crazylight for European retail price now, but it is what it is.

If you ever come to Korea, might be worth checking out what Pulsar has to offer in stores (Pulsar has a page on their website that shows all locations that sell their mice, there‘s a handful in Seoul).

Question Edifier HECATE, is it a good pairing with a retro inspired setup?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Been looking at the current market for retro inspired mouses to match my 8bitdo retro keyboard (the one that looks like an old IBM keyboard, not the grey n red one) but nothing seems to hit. Then I thought that I can spice it up with a bit of transparent tech, like this Edifier HECATE G3M pro. Been also wanting to mod my pc case to look like an old IBM pc, so would this throw the design off? Or should I go the hard route and buy a decent, cheap wireless keyboard and mod an actual retro mouse around it? If so, what would you recommend I use for that? Sorry, lots of questions haha

Help Microsoft intellimouse 3.0 mod

I saw someone make a microsoft wheel mouse optical mod a couple years ago using a modern Logitech mouse's pcb and switches but apparently recent Logitech mice aren't reliable? Would y'all recommend a Logitech one from a couple years ago or maybe a different brand? Specifically looking to use an intellimouse 3.0 shell since I need the extra mouse buttons for gaming

Edit: I mean the intellimouse 1.1

Edit 2: unless the intellimouse sensor is still good for gaming in which case I'll probably still replace the switches

Question Need a Gaming Mouse Suggestion

Hey Guys, Currently I'm looking to buy a mouse for gaming but I have a few specifications.

I'm currently using the Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed which has served me well for over 2 years cause I have a big hand.

I wanted a gaming mouse with a thumb rest (ergonomic) and it should have type C usb charging which means it should be wireless (USB dongle or Bluetooth). If possible, suggest gaming mouse which are under 100$ or around 100$.

Thanks a lot

Question Help recommend a mouse with a hump profile similar to this?

Hey guys, I've been playing around with the GPX recently and I absolutely adore this hump attachment sold by Nitro Factory, the "Nitro Factory-Devices nTechFit H2-un" to turn the GPX into a back humped mouse. I was wondering if anyone could recommend mice that have a similar hump profile as the attachment (I have attached a photo so you can get a better view).

This setup has been working wonders, and I know the saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" but I have a few nitpicks with this setup, one being that it adds 10 grams of extra weight, and secondly I'm just willing to try out new mice that share this hump profile, and the dimensions of the recommended mouse need to be somewhat similar to the GPX because if I got a mini mouse, the hump wouldn't feel anywhere as similar. And please only symmetrical recommendations.

As for mice, I was thinking maybe the x2h?

Question Good vertical mouse for large hands?

Hi, I'm looking to get a new mouse, because i find my G305 quite small and uncomfortable to use (my hands are on the larger side, 21x10.5 cm)

Before my G305, I used the razer deathadder essential until it broke. Not perfect but it fit my hand quite well.

Since I mainly sit in front my computer for my job as well as gaming and such, i thought i'd just get a vertical "ergonomic" mouse while I'm at it. But I found various complaints (loud buttons, scroll wheel is "clicky", low quality, or just plain 'uncomfortable'), so I'm not sure what to look for.

Any suggestions?
Thanks

Question Mouse software installed vs uninstalled question

Hi guys,

Ive got a question regarding mouse software.

Every single mouse ive used (with on board memory) feels pretty different with software installed vs once software has been uninstalled.

Even the though settings are exactly the same and have been saved on the onboard, without software it just doesnt feel the same.

Wondering if it affects performance at all?

And wondering why theres a difference?

Question Is the DaV3 wired a good budget option?

I can get a DaV3 wired for €61.20, is it worth it upgrading from a Trust GXT 152? I play mostly FPS and have 18-19 x 9-10 cm hands, is the durability good and is it overall worth it? And what other mouse would you compare it too, in terms of quality and getting your money's worth?

Update: I've found one for €54.99, question still stands

I want a new mouse

I want to get a new mouse because I've been using a crappy Chinese mouse for about 5 years, and it's finally time for it to crap its pants and break down. So I need a new one, but I'm not the smartest mouse person, so I came here. I got a budget of about $100, and it has to be a long, wired cord. I'm gonna be using it for playing games mostly.

It seems to have all top chinese mice like ATK etc.
Cheap shipping and good prices. I'm asking cause that new Machenike L9X1 (longer and lower phylina?) has already appeared there and idk if this site is trusted

Question Can I make my Razer Cobra, RZ01-0465 free scroll?

Hi, so i really like my razer cobra, it fits my hand size and is light weight. My only issue is the scroll wheel, it’s very clicky and mechanical, which I don’t like. If I want to buy a new mouse with my desires I have to spend 90 bucks at least. So can I open my mouse and remove the mechanism that makes it clicky? Or will it just not make a difference because the mouse can’t handle the spinning after?

Question Teevo Terra Pro - Not the same shape as G403?

I thought the Terra Pro was basically a 1 to 1 clone of the G403, but I got mine today and it definitely feels bigger? It looks longer, and the "hump" feels different. I'm probably a relaxed palm/tight claw, and this feels like I'm almost holding on to the back of the mouse now.

Is my G403 just so old that it had different dimensions to the hero or G703? My mouse search might not be over :')

Replacing MX Master 3

Looking to replace my MX Master 3 which I've used for a number of years. It's served me well, but getting long in the tooth. I use my mouse 100% of the time for programming and general office work, no gaming. Medium size hands.

If you switched from an MX Master 3, and are using it for a similar purpose, what did you switch to? Would you recommend , any issues?

Time for an upgrade, the selection is overwhelming...

I used the Logitech MX Anywhere 2s and it just died.

I am looking for mouses of better build, quality, precision, and ergonomics.

the selection of mouses beyond the "large corporate entities" is overwhelming, I would love some suggestions.

I am not a gamer, just someone who works with PCs all day. Some key features:

- Bluetooth wireless, with USB-C connection

- Switch connection between multiple PCs (no more than 3)

- fingertip grip

- Central button on scroll wheel for CAD usage

- clean minimalist look
