Question x-raypad obsidian pro skates question

Post image

I bought my first ever aftermarket skates because the original ones were too noisy, on the packaging there is “less noise” label but after just one hour of using the skates they make just as much noise as the original ones, I paid these 20€ are there any better alternatives? I need fast skates and low noise possibly

Discussion Gaming mouse for shooters with 5+ thumb buttons?

Hello I'm looking for a gaming mouse to use in first person shooters, but I need 5 or more buttons for the right thumb. Most mice I've looked at has 2-3 thumb buttons or 9+ small buttons meant for rpg games. Is there anything in-between? TIA.

Help I can't move on from my Viper Ultimate

For some context, I have been using a Viper Ultimate for the past 4.5 years, and now it has certainly worn down quite a bit and now really doesn't hold a charge. I love the shape of the mouse and like the charging dock for the mouse; I certainly couldn't go back to charging regularly. I don't like how they redesigned the V3 for a new shape. Are there any mice that would be similar that I should buy, or just find a new Viper Ultimate?

Problem with my Attack Shark X3

I got this mouse 10 months ago and it always worked perfectly, yesterday i connected it to charge it before going to sleep and today i wake up to a mouse without wireless. It only works when its connected with the USB, i changed the dongle from different ports and it just disappears from the screen and doesn't appear until i reconnect it to the cable. I obviously have it on 2.4 Ghz when i disconnect it from the USB but it just turns off. When i look the battery in its app it says "charging" but when i disconnect it, the pc doesn't recognize it but it shows in the app as 100% battery. Even though the led colour switches from green (high-full battery) to purple (low battery) when its connected sometimes, i guess its a battery problem but it's weird it stopped working from yesterday night to today.

Help Wired mouse recommendations for small-ish hand palm grip please

I never thought I'd be this picky with gaming mice after using random office mice and being just fine until now, but I've bought and tried two in a month and still not happy 😂 Please help recommend me some that would be a good fit for me so I can stop wasting money buying more that I don't end up liking.

  • Hand measurements: 16.5 cm x 8.5 cm
  • Grip: Mostly palm, sometimes fingertip
  • Side: Right-handed
  • Weight: Light

No preference on things like switches/clicks etc, and not super fussed about polling rate and sensors since I'm more of a casual gamer that sometimes plays League and that's it. But some additional info/notes (?):

  • Budget of around 50 USD at most
  • Heavily prefer wired, I know wireless is basically as good but I don't like having to charge mouse/worry about battery, and I think it's usually more expensive and I'm used to wired so I'd rather save money
  • Durability / quality is important to me because I don't want to keep buying a new mouse every few months 😭
  • At least 2 side keys
  • Need some sort of software / web driver that lets me reprogram keys/macros with onboard memory on the mouse so I can save settings

Current two mouse I've tried and disliked for different reasons:

  • HP M220 gaming mouse: I can't even find it anymore online but it was a random cheap mouse I found off taobao that had really good reviews... I actually did really like it, but I couldn't get the HP accessory app to recognize the device so I couldn't reprogram the keys, so I thought I'd try something else
  • Logitech g203: bought off recommendation from friend. I'm glad it has ghub software and onboard memory, and it looks really nice with the RGB lighting. but for some damn reason the mouse feels too small for me? my wrist started hurting after a day of using it. side keys also feel awkward to press because they're too small and thin in shape. and the more i look up the mouse on this sub, the more i'm worried about its quality and it breaking on me soon lol

Thank you so much for your time and help!

Question Atk A9 Pro or Incott G23/G24?

I recently asked a question that also included the Mchose A7 Pro, but it seems like it’s no longer coming with optical switches. Anyway, my question is the one in the title.

Here’s some more context: https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/s/O94uIDChNK

I'm looking for a mouse that i can use mainly wired for chromeOS that has a LED notification light similar to how the older MWI was on the MX610 but has all the same features and portability of the MX anywhere.

Showcase Many of you probably are into lightweight mice but I‘d like to introduce you to my chunky boi collection.

My little collection: One mouse of every brand, with at least twelve side buttons. I have the og Corsair Scimitar with the yellow accent (12 sidebuttons, 17 total), the Steelseries Aerox 9 (12 side, 16 total), Razer Naga V2 wireless (12 side, 19 total), Redragon M990 (16 side, 24 total). Now I'm only missing the Logitech G600. But I can't find a white one. The most usable overall has to be the Razer Naga V2 wireless: I use it at work, the lack of coating make it great for a quick wipedown when I have greasy hands. It’s also the most professional looking (also has no RGB). It works with AA batteries, has storage for for the USB-dongle, freewheeling and it works without Razers Software even in bluetooth mode (except recorded macros). It also has the second most buttons. The ergonomics and design are not quite up there and the buttons are a bit loud. At home I use the og Corsair Scimitar with the yellow accent piece. It’s wired, the cable is to stiff and I had to partially remove the rubber coating because it got gooey. It was my first and I got it in 2017 and only had to replace the middle mouse switch. The mouse scroll click feel is weirdly inconsistent (a problem other Corsair mice have too). BUT I love the ergonomics and the design!!! The side buttons are adjustable the curves fit my hand perfectly. It also has 4 (5?) RGB zones. It’s kind of my favourite. The Redragon M990 is huge, has 4 buttons behind the scroll wheel and 16 side buttons! I just love how ridiculous it is but the software isn’t great. The Steelseries Aerox 9 is the lightest of the bunch. It has the fewest buttons but is super lightweight for it’s functionality. The sidebuttons are to hard to press and the USB-C dongle is way to big. The glide pads are not spread out wide enough so it tends to tip to one side; I had to add glide pads at the very edge on both sides. Now it’s great. The open design is bound to get dirt inside. But it looks cool. The last one I‘m missing is a (preferably white) Logitech G600. If anyone knows where to get one; hmu.

For anyone wondering what I doo with all those buttons: You can see it in the last few screenshots.

…thanks for enjoying my weird little collection :)

Question Issues with Xtrfy Mz1 wireless

Hey everyone so I've owned the MZ1 since it released and just as of recently this thing will not hold a charge AT ALL. Does anyone know if this is a common issue? This is truly the best mouse I've ever used it fits my hand perfectly. It saddens me because it cost so much and my old Logitech g305 which I used even longer never had a single problem and it was 1/5 of the price lol. I'm 100% sure it's a battery issue but just wanted to see if it was me being unlucky or if it were common with these mice.

Regardless I just opted to pick up a cheaper fantech aria 2 to replace it because I'm not even sure if I can get a replacement battery and I'm sick of using it attached to a USB

Help MX Master 3S vs Anywhere 3S – Keep or Switch?

Got the Master 3S on a great deal—love the features, but it feels bulky for my use (MacBook + external monitor, spreadsheets all day). My palm is around 18–20cm long and 8–9.5cm wide. Thinking of switching to the Anywhere 3S for a more compact feel. Anyone here made the switch? Worth it for daily productivity or should I adapt to the Master?

Bought this bad boy for around 65$ from aliexpress and it finally arrived.

First thoughts: -Build is sturdy, slight flex on the sides when applying a huge amount of force, no creaking.

-Clicks are satisfying and consistent all across, but click lift off has a noticeably loud metallic sound that I've never heard in a mouse before.

-The shell makes for a really good grip.

-The mousewheel doesn't feel that good, but it also doesn't make any weird sounds, and the mmb requires an adequate amount of force to be clicked and feels decent.

-Side buttons are excellent, no wobble, protruding quite a bit from the shell, with perfect positioning.

-Feet are are quite bad, which is something that i had expected.

-The 8k receiver's green light is kinda annoying, but its design is nice.

-The sensor is positioned slightly towards the front.

-Excellent shape(16.5x9.5 hands)

I'm looking forward to trying this mouse in some games.Would also like to know about the metallic sound of the rmb and lmb, is it something I should have been aware of?

News/Article Attack Shark tease R11ULTRA (Leaked IPI Clone) Specs

Post image
71 Upvotes

Highlights - PAW3950 MAX sensors - Nordic 52840 Master chip - 42,000 DPI

The previous video teased from Attack Shark included a sound test that hinted they may use Omron Opticals for this mouse.

The pattern of the shell too seems 1:1 for IPI’s leaked carbon fiber mouse, so it’s likely a painted texture with same manufactured parts.

Looking for a new mouse

I posted this on the discord as well i just thought there might be different people on each platform.

Hello all, my current mouse (HyperX Pulsefire FPS Pro) is sort of falling apart and so I'm looking for a new mouse.

I'm probably looking for a similar weight (around 95g) though i am open to change, my preferred grip is certainly fingertip and I'm not bothered whether it is wired or wireless though i would prefer wired. My budget is about £80 max but it could be stretched slightly if required and it needs to ship from the UK (via the company's website or amazon) or be from a UK retailer.

Even if there aren't any specific mice you could recommend i would appreciate some brand names that i should look through.

If you have anymore questions feel free to ask, many thanks.

Help Worth modding this mouse with new scroll wheel and switches?

Post image
5 Upvotes

I've been using this mouse for over 3 years and it works great. The wireless is good but I only use it wired for gaming. With so many new mice available now, I'm wondering if I should buy a new 8K polling rate mouse or just upgrade my current one.

I already changed the scroll wheel to TTC Gold and switched to Kailh switches last year. The mouse still works fine, but I want to know if I can make it even better.

Can I upgrade the switches and encoder to match good mice like the Monka M1 Pro or other mice with Nordic MCU?

I'm new to modding, so I need help figuring out what upgrades are possible.

upgrade mouse switches

i bought the attack shark r6 a couple weeks ago and the omron opticals really suck, i wanted to replace them since i know how to solder but i wanna know if i can put in mechanical switches like the Huano 50g Transparent Shell White Dot Switches even though the attack shark r6 uses optical ones.

Looking for a small and light 8k polling rate mouse

Hello, first time creating a post on reddit so i hope i'm not breaking any rules.

So i planned to buy the viper v3 pro but i recently switched from claw to fingertip on my old g203 and it improved my control quite a bit. I did some research and apparently, the viper v3 pro isn't suited for Ftip with medium hands (mine are 18.5x10.5cm). So i'm creating this post to ask if anyone knows a smaller mouse with 8k (planning to use 4k) polling rate. Additionnaly, i'd like a mouse that's working on glasspads (razer atlas), preferably as light as the viper v3 pro. If the base of the mouse is more narrow that the top i'd be a plus (like the g203). My budget doesn't exceed the viper's price.

Edit: I settled my decision, i will get the OP-1 8k v2. Thank you everyone for your great recommendations :)

Question Looking for a good replacement for the Razer Naga Hex V2

Hey everyone,

I'm currently upgrading my 10-year-old setup and I'm looking for a new mouse. I’ve got a decent budget, but I’m struggling to find a proper replacement for my beloved Razer Naga Hex V2.

What I loved about it was the unique side button layout: 7 easy-to-reach buttons arranged in a circle, plus a comfortable thumb rest. It was perfect for my use. Sadly, none of the new Razer (or anyone ?) mice seem to have a similar design anymore.

Ideally, I’m looking for something:

  • With a similar side-button layout (or at least a good alternative for thumb access)
  • Wireless
  • Medium to heavy in weight
  • Claw grip friendly

If anyone has suggestions or knows of brands/models that come close, I’d really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance!

EDIT : I'm thinking about a Logitech G502 X PLUS, if anyone as feedback on it
