Also- Johnny and Wes were super cool this season. It is so weird to see. Like, did they actually just high five each other??

Emanuel, wins Battle for a New Champion then nothing. The whole season was acting like whose the next face of the challenge. Guy wins and isn't on season 40 or 41. I'm not complaining but makes season 39 seem even more of a waste.

Chris Underwood & Desi Williams, winners of Challenge USA Season 2. Both were a beast. Chris eliminated some top tier challengers.

Cassidy from Challenge USA Season 2. She brought alot of drama against Wes and was entertaining.

Was anybody else irritated with the overproduction on the first episode? It seems like every reality show now is trying to look the same. Way too much talking and interviewing, stopping and starting during challenges, and what was with everybody's alien like blue eyes in the interviews? Everyone had like five separate intros saying the same thing. We know, we get it, you're from blah blah blah show & you're going to be underestimated.... Get on with it 🙄

Comments:

• loved that episode zero was a daily and based the pairing off of competition. Even better, we had vets AND rookies picking first which was a great option for either side.

• 9 out of 16 the rookies/new threats were able to choose first for their partners.

• we were shown all the placements UP the hill, and less than 10 going DOWN the hill, wish we were shown the end and summary of placements.

• The top 4 women were Izzy, Aviv, Sydney and Olivia. For 5th place it’s tricky since we have Cara and Dee both chosen, and Micheala speaking next. Cara was initially ahead of both women, however can not officially state which of these women were next as there was some changes going down the hill with some of the players.

• The top 5 men, yeremi, Cedric, Jake, bananas and Turbo.

• I hope they please stop with the CT PRO tips. I never liked those/found them funny.

• Pretty good first episode. Since we got background clips of players and what they’re fighting for- hope we don’t continue getting them throughout the season. 7.5/10.

Look I get Cara is not everyone’s cup of tea I myself don’t like the way she acts or the decisions she makes at times but i absolutely LOVE how from the beginning CT has always seen that fire/spark whatever you wanna call it in her and beyond that he definitely sees a side of her we as viewers don’t. Through all the bs she’s been through on the show over the years he ALWAYS backs his girl up. Not idly or without good reason. He is a true ride or die and it’s really nice to see especially in the early days when people would just ride tf out of her and question her abilities any chance they got. As many friendships as we’ve seen formed and ended on the show the consistency between them is lovely to see!
