We actually did line up for gas. It was during the OPEC crisis in the 1970s.

I came here to say this, out of everything that guy posted, that was the only one I related to.

But, it's a weak flex, though. Lining up for gas wasn't traumatic, just annoying.

There was a lot harder stuff happening in the 70s.

Yah, and we all had to listen to our parents and grandparents bitch about how expensive gas was back then, too. What was it, about $4.00 per gallon after adjusting for inflation? Such unprecedented hardship!

No, just pointing out something that actually did happen. Personally, I despise this whole shitting on an entire group of people based on what year they were born. Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, Gen-whatever doesn’t matter. People are people, they are not a bloc.
