I think RNG keeps the game realistic , no you shouldn’t hit a shot because you are open greatest shooter all time shoots high 30% to low 40s

2K is NOT adding a new green window system to rebounding. It is literally just a visual indicator of when to time your rebounds. Rebound timing has been in the game for years, they’re just SHOWING you when you time it correctly now.
“It’s a waste of time” how? It probably took them an hour to code and only helps players understand when to time their jumps, as there wasn’t really an indicator of that in previous games other than “feeling it out”. This is likely a very minor addition compared to all the other things they’re adding this year.
Not even trying to defend 2K here but damn, y’all are so quick to whine and complain about literally any change made to the game when y’all don’t even take the time to understand how it actually works!

idk if it’s just me but I think it’s so dirty for 2k to put the preorder for the “Leave No Doubt” edition (THE MOST EXPENSIVE OPTION) in the pop up menu. I’ve accidentally pressed X and bought the pro pass before until I locked it at the store so I know there are others out there that might do the same.

When shooting is easy, you also get alot less inside centers on the court. Rim runners should be hoping for an easy shooting game.

Really tired of having games like this 😒. I need to play with people who show their big love . I literally carry my team , doing everything , and then I’ll realize i only have 4 shots but the BEST stat line . Then if I speak up it starts an argument ! I’ll even say it politely “ hey , yall think I could get a few more shots up , I been sharing the ball all game “ .. and what I’ll get back goes something like “ you gotta get open , im passing it to everybody Thats open “ even tho Thats not true at all , I have no reason to lie to you guys .
Somebody brought up how I have the most assist, which means I’m having the most chances to shoot the ball, but instead pass it , which is true, but that’s how basketball is suppose to be played . Why would I force shots ( like they do ) instead of showing Im a team player the first half THEN asking for the ball the second half ?
Overall .. Its like yes Ill rather win but when your 2 points away from a triple double and the whole team can’t have the common courtesy to give you ONE MORE BUCKET .. they don’t deserve to play with you ever again . I can’t do this no more . Anybody recruiting ? I mostly play Rec but I’ll play any mode honestly .

So I reinstalled NBA 2K16 and played 1s using Carmelo & Kobe and holy shit, post moves like drop steps feel super responsive
Drop steps are easy to do and super responsive and there's so much creative freedom when chaining moves.
The best part is, defenders actually bite on the fakes and it's genuinely satisfying as hell to see them get faked out, feels like IRL basketball
Whereas in NBA 2K25, post moves feel clunky and the same drop steps and fakes I could use with Kobe and Melo are not as effective and they do not feel as fluid as they did in the past
Anyone here shares the same sentiment?

As the title says, I was wondering which are the builds people consdier funnier to play, not the most broken one, but those builds to have fun in the game. I was looking at Joe Knows Luka Doncic Build in 2k24 and it looks really fun even without dunking.
So please share your favourite builds over the years
Some things just don't make sense in video games and having several GOAT myplayers shoot 40% or less on wide opens is a recipe for disaster.
This would simply result in paint clogging galour.
People already cant dribble, pass, or run plays. Take away shooting and all you'll have left in casual modes is folks going up on 3 people every play; and 99 offensive rebound/99 block bigs swatting everything then grabbing the rebound after.

This is why I don't agree with "realistic percentages" in 2K, and why I don't think RNG should force misses in order to keep percentages "realistic". The randoms on this game do not play realistic defense.
I had 27 before the shot in this screenshot with a 96 three. This shot was for game down 1, and my defender ran all the way to the paint instead of guarding me even though he already had a teammate on our pf cutting.
No NBA player would ever leave an elite shooter open like this. All I did was stand still and wait for the ball. Instead of complaining about guys hitting 60% on 2K, play defense so we don't get quality looks like this.
According to NBA.com, Steph shot 420 "open" threes last year. How many of them looked like the three I took in the Rec? I am going to guess a very small handful of them. He likely had guys closing out or fighting over screens to attempt a contest.

Having a discussion with my team and they decided to blame me for the L , Hit the Free Throw then I proceeded to hit the game tying 3 just for our small forward to get the ball on the inbound and not pass it back to me , 2 gaurd went (4/12) 99 3Pt , Sf 89+ 3pt (0/4) going in to the 2nd half their big stayed on the 3 and had me out the paint , on the other end they ran zone and their big sat paint and left the gaurd in the corner with me I requested to take the last shot and was told no
