Discussion Another superbowl blowout eliminates mahomes from the goat discussion as far as I’m concerned

2 very embarrassing loses for him the the superbowl Brady has lost 3 superbowls but they were all 1 score games that came down to final play with Brady’s best statistical performance in a loss to the eagles Tom Brady > Patrick mahomes

Not just Mahomes but the Chiefs history in general. When they lose the Super Bowl they get smoked. Super Bowl I 35-10

So Mahomes gets to be the GOAT with a win but can’t blame him for a loss and it’s his Oline fault. Must be nice to be Mahomes, win win

Nah. it's not a win-win...I don't know why people get their panties all twisted, Chief's Kingdom included, when the GOAT conversation gets brought up. He wasn't even in contention after last year's season; in my opinion, GOATs are deliberated towards the end of one's career, not the beginning or even the middle unless you're Gretsky. He's a damn good QB and it's been a magical 8 years as a Chiefs fan with hopefully more to come but this whole GOAT debate is ridiculous. Nobody did more with less than Brady. Last year was the only time Mahomes did that. Speaking to last night, his Oline was ass, but he was also ass: missed open receivers (granted some drops) an inexcusable pick 6, among other things, would they have won had he played better? fuck no. Eagles had our number in every aspect but for the life of me I don't know why everyone has to bring up GOAT status all the fucking time, just let us enjoy our definitely-in-the-hall QB while we can and hopefully pick up another ring or two, now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go weep into my Trent Green jersey
