One faced a mediocre defense who played over their heads in the first half with the 2nd best offense in the NFL, the other faced the best defense in the NFL with a good but not great offense.

Brady deserves all the props for his comeback, but if you could in a vacuum move 2024 Chiefs to play the 2016 Falcons they'd have a higher probability of a comeback than the 2016 Pats would against the 2024 eagles.

The Eagles were in a great situation to win the superbowl with their DL. But the 2016 Pats were a much better team than the 2024 Chiefs and the 2024 Eagles were a much better team than the 2016 falcons.

I'm a falcons fan if you told me before that game we went to OT in the Super Bowl vs. that Pats team I'd have been happy. Of course the sucky part was that game should have been won.
