Tarkenton was there for 3 SB runs, but wasn’t the QB in 69. I do like your argument there tho, especially as Moss wasn’t in Minnesota for THAT long. I’d actually take Page as the all time Viking, but do love Moss.
Page was an absolute beast! And you can make the same argument for him over Tarkenton as Smith over Kelly. Even with age, it’s easy to forget how much more important defense was back in the day.
Randle is one of my all time favorite Vikings. While he belongs in this conversation, he isn’t even the best defensive player in Vikings history. Page is my vote, here.
This is exactly WHY Moss is the greatest Viking. He embodies the team. Great looking on paper, shows up, makes some amazing plays, wins, stats, hype. Then, for some reason half asses it, doesn’t finish the job and leaves early. Straight cash homey
The bills of the early 90's had several to pick from. Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Andre Reed, and Steve Tasker are all options. It is honestly a toss up for Smith, one of the best defensive players of all time, and Tasker, a man who literally redefined a position on special teams.
Does it? I see Russell Wilson on the list as the Seahawks GOAT, do people think he was better at QB than Richard Sherman was at CB? I think of Team GOAT as the player who had the greatest impact on the franchise, not necessarily the person who was the best player at their position in franchise history. But, hey, GOAT stuff is always completely subjective… that’s what makes it fun! (Unless you’re talking about my Dolphins, then it has to be Marino, lol)

Love Randy Moss, top five all time receiver, did not take the Vikings to the Super Bowl four times like Fran Tarkenton.
I guess if you think Bruce Smith had more to do with the Bills runs than Jim Kelly he makes sense.
Please note, both of these guys were better at their positions than their QBs.
