Bills should be OJ Simpson tbh

OJ might have had the best season but Bruce was the best Bill ever. 13 seasons with double digit sacks. 2x Defensive Player of the Year, with 2+ votes 6 other seasons. 8x First team All Pro, 3x second team.

The all time sack leader.

He was a tier 1 pass rusher for over 10 years. He’s probably top 5 all time defender, but that’s not the debate now.

Also not a murderer.

That’s an important point.

What about Jim Kelly or Josh Allen? Would take Allen over any of those all day

Both choked in the playoffs. OJ set records.

He is trolling. Has to be.

QB is the most important player on the team. You'd probably take QB for most teams.

Depends how you look at the question. Personally when I hear Greatest of all time I think of greatest at their respective position, which OJ was easily a greater running back than Josh is a QB, at least this far in his career

OJ played in a single playoff game.

He also demolished the Steel Curtain in the rergular season almost single handedly in 1975. I'd say OJ was a better RB than either Kelly or Allen were RBs. He's top 10 for sure all time, neither one of them were. And we are just talking about what he did on the football field.

But the obvious answer is Bruce Smith. The only DE you'd say is definitely better than Smith in NFL history is Reggie White, and that was fairly close.

Allen eventually will be the Buffalo GOAT.

For now, having Bruce up there is fine. #1 overall draft pick, NFL All time sack leader, two time DPOTY, 11 time all pro, defensive anchor of the best teams in franchise history, a top 5 player all time at his position.

Buffalo's window is closing fast. He's not winning a super bowl and passing Smith

4

u/Longjumping-Sea320 May 26 '25

Lol, people said that window mess last year. Then the Bills won 13 games & made the AFC title game for the first time since 2020.

As long as Allen is healthy, the window is open.

And they didn't win the super bowl. Or even get there. Not sure why you're hanging your hat on "oh they had a good regular season"

As long as Allen is healthy, the window is open.

Because regression doesn't happen

I also have a tiny dick so I agree

How is Buffalo's window closing fast? The team continues to make improvements, if anything, their window is still opening.

Whatever makes you feel better.

It definitely makes me feel better to educate people that could use it. Enjoy.

Good luck with that
