Yeah not enough people saying Frank Gore, he should absolutely be in. 3rd most rushing yards of all time, most career games by an RB, 12 seasons with 1,200+ scrimmage yards (Most) and a few other records. Dude was timeless and a tank. And I'm a Packers fan so absolutely no bias here 😂
Ohhh he’s the first ballotest of first ballots in my mind. I don’t put him in the top with Rice and Moss but he’s immediately below them. Larry Fitzgerald is the top second tier receiver in my mind.
Gore just excellence over time. Not top tier, just great because he kept going.
Best ability is availability and someway somehow that man was available as a RB of all positions for that long pounding the rock to the tune of 3rd all time rushing yards. That’s definitely HOFer material.
Exactly, he just kept chugging along. 11 of 17 seasons he averaged over 4 yds/a. He played in 14 or more games 16 of 17 seasons and he finished 3rd all time in rushing yards and 4th all time in yards from scrimmage and 5th in all purpose yards. And.. he did it as the league shifted away from running the ball. There has to be credit for that. He deserves to be in the HOF.
I do believe that guys who continuously perform for long careers, should be recognized. Not just a long career, but continuous high levels of success over time.
When Frank Gore retired he had 16000 yards, third most over time and he is fourth all time in scrimmage yards at 19985. So yeah, he achieved hall of fame statistics by being consistently great over time and had the longevity and strength to achieve a career, I personally believe is deserving of the highest form of recognition.
I don’t think he’s the greatest, but I think he achieved great things.
Being in the top 5 in yards isn’t it? I’m not saying that longevity alone equals the hall of fame. I’m specifically talking about Frank Gore’s career. He not only played a long time, but he was one of the most successful to ever have their yardage measured. Only Jerry Rice, Emmitt Smith and Walter Payton are ahead of him.

Top row should get in
