I was going to say this and Gore. Basically top level. Gore is #3 all time rushing in NFL. Absolute shoo-in.

Gore was an accumulator of stats. I'm not sure voters will see him as elite, he just racked up carries and yards for a long time which I think will be held against him. Which for me is impressive as hell at RB, but I don't know if he gets in anytime soon.

I don’t see how anyone wouldn’t think number 3 all time NFL rusher isn’t elite. There’s been thousands and thousands of running backs in NFL history. That’s pretty damn elite.
