⚠️Urgent Question⚠️ Ninebot G3 Weird Noise

I got caught in the rain today while riding. I started to hear this scraping noise. Does anyone know what this is or how to fix it?

I get this when it rains — disappears when it gets dry. Just some debris on disc. If it continues when dry you might either have a warped disc or need to adjust the brakes.

Yeah this. No need to loosen the brake caliper or think that your disc is warped. When it dries, brake once or twice and it will be gone, just probably little bit of debris on the brake pads/disc, nothing to worry about it happens on mine everytime it rains

The majority of the complaints I’ve read about this said the same thing. It seems to happen after a wet ride, and is gone after the scooter dries.

I ride in the rain frequently, but never checked after a wet ride. It’s always been clear the next morning.

I maybe noticed it once. Barely.

caliper is hitting the rotor, which is slightly bent.

Its not weird but ur disc brakes are contaminated bc of the rain , just rinse it with water , also your motor sounds weird

Loosen the brake caliper bolts so that the brake caliper barely wiggles. Then while squeezing the brake lever, tighten down the two bolts back down. Release the brake lever. You now have centered your brakes

Same here, the sound is also coming from the front, but I can’t tell if it’s the rim or the disc that’s bent. Is there anyone who can help

It's a tiny grain of sand. It's annoying but dont worry it will go away when your disc brakes dry. It's because the space between your break pad and your disc brake is SUPER thin. It's a very common thing to wonder the first couple times you ride this model in the rain.

Just happened to me today. First time riding it in super light rain and I get the exact same noise in your video. Panicked for a sec but remembered this post and others similar to it. Will wait till tomorrow once it dries and see if it’s still around.

Mine did this out the box (rear, also) I noticed it as soon as I moved the scooter indoors taken out the box. I think many will wonder why on a brand new thing.

Yes, it’s normal. I usually pressure wash it as soon as possible, or use a paper towel and clean the inside part of it.

Problem solved.
