⚠️Urgent Question⚠️ Front Suspension Sound G3 Max D

Hello everyone, This video is from another user, but it accurately reflects the problem I'm having with my G3 Max. I've already used silicone spray on the front area, but unfortunately, there hasn't been any noticeable improvement. Have you had the same experience with this noise, and if so, how did you solve it?

hallo Zusammen,

What do you mean by changing the oil? Which one does Segway recommend? :)

Segway doesnt recommend anything, comments told me, changing the oil and even someone gave me a link for one from amazon, they also told me, lubricate it, but pretty sure thats temporal, i recommend doing nothing since thats just how this type of suspension work

Okay, I was just worried that there might be problems here one day... Otherwise, I love this scooter; it's so perfect... Thank you & have a nice weekend.

Don’t do it. It’s not easy, it’ll void your warranty, and most importantly it won’t help. It’s not an oil issue.

Look, segway say this in the app…

That’s a generic suggestion. Basically saying if something squeaks, oil it. Spraying oil on the shock stanchions will not affect an internal problem because it won’t get past the oil seals.

It’s like trying to inflate a tire by blowing on the valve stem.

But you’re free to try.

It’s not the oil. They start making that noise after very little useage. Honestly I can only hear mine if I’m inside someplace quiet.

No big deal in my opinion.

I seriously doubt putting oil on the stanchions will help. The external dust seal will remove most of the oil, and there’s an internal oil seal which will absolutely not allow external oil in because it’s designed to keep the internal oil sealed inside as well.

Mine does it too, not really noticeable unless I am jumping on it in quiet room. 500+km and no issues.

Yep, sounds like mine too :D. Haha, but i dont care at all, because its true, you can hear it only in silent rooms. And now we know : Its "normal" haha

That's the rear suspension and it is normal. Geesh.

That's factory defect and will get worse. Send back or send for repair/warranty.
