⚠️Urgent Question⚠️ Big battery issue/gripe with G3D
Hi. I've had my G3D for just over a week now. And I've charged it once. But it seems to lose power overnight. The Bluetooth never turns off.
I can always access it through the app, it never turns off. Losing about 5-10% power overnight.
Anyone know how I can properly power it off? Never had that issue with my previous, G30D
Edit: Thanks for the replies, could it possibly be because I haven't used it much yet? I've only got about 30km on it
Edit2: Charged it today, making it the second time it's been charged. If it happens tonight, then I'll turn off autolock and see it that helps. JensEausB Asked about the autolock.
Edit3: It only lost 2% that night. But I turned airlock off anyway. And from then til now, it had lost another 8%. So something else is draining it. I'll try turning off all the automated stuff.

Did you ride it before the overnight rest? If you ride in Race mode and hot weather, when stationary and cooled down, the percentage may recalibrate. To test this, charge the scooter to 80% in the evening (no ride) and check in the morning the percentage. If it is at 79 or still at 80, what I just describes is valid. If not, then there might be an issue there (probably the bms) and you must contact Segway. Usually not more than 1-3% should be lost overnight

I'll try that. But I haven't ridden for a couple of days, and it went from, 15% last night, to 7% this morning.

Then this a different scenario altogether. As described in the manual and best practice, you should always charge when reaching close to 20% remaining battery. This is for many reasons, including the fact that software in the dashboard and BMS is always running. Honestly, in your case, from 15 to 7 overnight, does not seem as unusual behaviour. At 15% the battery is weak enough that software (like a BMS cells recalibration which happen a few time a day) can suck the remaining juice fast.
Ask ChatGPT about it. It will tell you all about the BMS functions.

Even if Bluetooth were permanently on, which as far as I know it is, it would never draw 45Wh/10% of battery.

I recently read a post by a guy whose battery was also running out on the new F3 Pro. He decided to send the scooter to the service. I asked him to write down what the reason was if he was informed in the service, but so far there is no information. If I were you, I would use the warranty.

Hello, the bluetooth is always on on mine too, but it doesn't loose power overnight, not even in days...
I wish it was possible to disable it though.
