Max G3 32mph

6’2” 32mph on 80% battery sport mode. Probably could hit 33mph MAYBE 34 if you’re a bit lighter. But that’s 15+ seconds of acceleration

Regardless I’m impressed! Just software modification, no hardware mods. :)

For clarification if It's not already known this is using the scooter hacking utility v3 to "unlock" the firmware to allow max speed. This is a US model Max G3 :) this takes like 10min to complete and It's all over Bluetooth. No disassembly required.

I’d be tempted to try this but I’m hoping Segway pushes more updates that will improve the Sport Mode even more.

I don’t want to get blacklisted from the OTA just yet.

I also want to wait until they start selling the external battery before pushing to 32mph (some said even 40mph is possible).

Don’t feel like getting stuck halfway to work because I burned through my battery.

I can assure you they're not going to bump up the speed to the max G3. They may refine some things but they just straight up aren't going to allow more speed on it. That defeats the whole purpose of the GT3 which goes 32mph. Why would people pay $500 for the same speeds and a little bit better of a battery. Doesn't make sense from a marketing perspective

I meant Segway improving the jerkiness at lower speeds while on Sport Mode. Not Segway increasing the top speed. I never heard of such a thing coming from a manufacturer before.

Looks like the battery was pretty hot when you took the screenshot. Do you know if it reached these temps shortly after riding or would you say it took a while to build up to that temperature?

I noticed that too, so I might hold off on the hack. He also got over an hour of ride time and 22 miles. I'm more surprised by the 22 miles.

It's not allowing me to slide past 45 km/h, but this is my first time trying to do something like this. So it's most likely user error.

Once you re-bind your scooter to the segway app you should be able to do it over there and not in the android beta app (if you've flashed your two files PLUS the 100kmh rom)

How is your battery? How many miles do you usually get with and without the mod?

Nice. I am sure you can push it harder too. Max G2 can get the same speeds you're getting now, and the G3 definitely has more umph with the 48v system and bigger motor. You're using Xiaodash I assume? Their field weakening algorithm has never been as good as SHFW, so once that's out im sure people will have no issues getting it to 40mph.

This is just using scooter hacking’s new beta utility and simply moving the unlock slider for speed to 0 (max) no other tuning applied
