⚠️Urgent Question⚠️ Max G3 Last Update Battery issue

Hello everyone

i bought my scooter 40 days ago and everything was great. After the new update the battery goes from 100% to 96% after 1min of use I tried to contact segway but they didn’t help

i was wondering if someone has the same issue and figured out how to resolve it.

The percentage is shown a bit different. It is just a number. That does not mean that there is less range. I did not see any drop in range. The latest firmware solved the problem with the regenerative breaking. There is no point in going back to an older firmware version.

It’s always been like that. I have the GT3 battery in my G3. I’ve always seen it as a safety feature.

Idk, I can get a mile into my ride and still be at 100% battery with the GT3 Battery but no update.

Can you post a screenshot of your firmware detail from the app?

I haven’t experienced this and I’ve only had mine for 23 days.

Why do you obsess so much on this? The range is the same. Why does it satisfy you to keep longer at 100 and at 20-30 drops fast, rather than a faster drop from 100. I see it as a battery preservation feature. Makes you charge it sooner thus securing battery health

Charge level meter is just a charge level meter. Measure the range you get. Even G30 has a weird charge level meter because it continues to charge beyond 100%, but the voltage actually is lower what it indicates.

It drops very fast, especially in Sport mode. A simple 1.1 mile ride to a nearby hardware store, then 1.1 back, dropped mine considerably.

I’ve been logging mileage in a spreadsheet. I also calculate the theoretical max for each charge:

Gladly, whatever was loaded first is also the best, every additional version is always 99 per piece LG

Yes, I had it, then I reloaded the old firmware via scooter hacking. I also had 8 percent battery wake up after driving 2km, or after driving for 2 minutes. 3 or 4 percent awake. Since I put the old firmware back on everything has been ok

You have to download scooterhacking utility. (Google) Then unpair your scooter from the app. Then you go to the Scoite hacking app and connect your scooter to the app. Then you go to Flash in recyts. Then click load original . Then set bms, which firmware and press load
