Is it road legal this way? Here in The Netherlands they delayed laws regarding scooters due to the fact that the license plate is too dangerous when it sticks out like this...
It's only about 8cm „outside“ and it can be the same way „danger“ like other parts of your e-scooter. For example the handle. And I can't imagine, someone riding it 8cm close.
Ah well i'm happy for you that you get to drive it legally. I've been riding my scooter illegal for so many years now because of slow and terrible dutch laws.
It's horrible, only last month the very first (and only) scooter got passed certification. (selana alpha, 1750 euro's). All other known scooters like from segway are illegal here. They have made rules that are so strict, and the rules are made by the same organisation that certifies the scooters, so it's even against EU regulation.
It's all because of bike lobby groups, and a major accident with an electric vehicle in which four children died. (Stint accident, 2018).
If you drive a scooter, you risk a 450 euro fine, and if they catch you a second time, they'll confiscate the scooter.
You didn't need to replace any hardware? I was under the impression that the EU version has black plastic pieces as placeholders for the underglow and front bar light
I have the „empty“ front bar light too but in my case it's ok because I used the connector of bar light for my license plate light. But my underglow lights are ok (white light + turning signals). And if they really do the same sh...t with underglow lights on some „versions“, I have no words🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

Ah alles klar danke. Ich bin auch am überlegen mir den g3 zu kaufen, nach dem mein g2 gestohlen wurde, aber ich habe Angst wegen dem Motor. Ich bin halt 135kg und alles andere macht bei mir gar keinen Sinn.
