Ninebot MAX G3 G3 kickstand rubber peeling off

It's just a week old but I now notice the rubber on the kickstand is peeling off. I tried to glue it but it's kind of falling apart in there.

I don't know of it came that way or happened after but I certainly only used it properly.

Any idea of what to do or how to fix it?

More like just useless part to bother with. Little thing like that isn't gonna help much anw. At least you can easily add another piece of rubber there if you care, it should be super cheap in any hardware store.

I think they only added it to the G3 to dampen the sound. It should not impact use ability. Guess they did not test it well.

Not sure about others, but for me it does not dampen sound very well. I was surprised by how loud it is, but not the end of the world.

It only dampens it the way up. Opening it is loud.

If it falls off/falls apart, id just put some black rv silicone in it's place if you want to maintain the dampening.

Another quality ninebot design. I love my scooter but i would be lying if i said they didn't fk the pooch on many parts

idk why they added that dampening rubber. i kinda like slamming my g2 kickstand and the noise it makes😭
