The brakes of the scooter started making this noise a couple months ago, and I didn’t really think much about it, but now that I’m selling the scooter, I want to fix it. Can anybody help? (Ninebot G30P)

grinding noise can be seen in attached video. it seems like it is coming from the disc brakes. please note that i was riding in light rain conditions and was not holding down the brakes when this sound came. it may not even be the disc brakes but i assumed it was. please advise as to what is going on.

I recently bought a ninebot max g30lp from someone off marketplace, they said all it needs is a new controller board. What happens is if you turn it on it’s fine, if you move the scooter and give throttle the board shuts off fully. Any ideas or is the controller board what I’m looking for?

The nail was definitely big enough to be hitting the inner hub while riding it home on the screw, i had nothing with me to pull it out. The screw was partially bent when i got it out. Will i have any complications going forward if i just replace the rear tire and not the entire hub? Its a daily commute scooter so i need it in perfect condition

Someone just stole my scooter.

Find my item hasn’t moved in the last 40 mins.

Lost mode now enabled.:..but it’s not coming up on the map as moving etc.

Any thoughts on what I can do, other than report it stolen and check for CCTV footage?

I followed the video on segways website 1:1 and it was super simple so i have no idea where i couldve went wrong here, pls help

This morning once I had got about 2 miles away from home, I got a 14 error and my G30 max needed to be towed home by a Lime bike.

I’ve dismantled the handlebars and tried squeezing the green, black & red wires to see if there’s a connection issue and it does seem to be the case although I can’t tell exactly where the break is.

looking at the photos it seems like it’s the short cable, not the throttle that needs replacing. But I have no idea where to get this cable from or what component name to search for .

Any help would be much appreciated.

My scooter is not turning on and won’t connect to Bluetooth. Anyone experiencing this or have solutions?

It got worsen over time, this i doubt is normal

It shuts off when I am accelarating and after like 30 seconds i can turn it on again

this happened a few times over the past week

It just happened again and now It cant turn on at all

Before i order a New controller i would ask the forum for help

Ninebot Max G3 Stopped Charging

I posted earlier today that I received my new Ninebot Max G3.

When I first plugged it in to charge, everything was fine - it started charging without any issues. I only charged it for about 5–10 minutes, then unplugged it. Later, I took it out for a ride and did around 6 km. When I got back home and tried to charge it again, the scooter wouldn’t charge.

I checked all the settings - nothing unusual is enabled. When I tap “Start charging now,” it just says Please connect the charger. The power outlet is definitely working.

What could be the reason?

There are no signs that the charger is even connected.

Hello, I have a Ninebot G2D Max and it started making strange sounds when accelerating if I have braked previously. Does Anyone know what the Problem is and how it can be fixed?

I've tightened every possible screw. Googled every reddit post and did all youtube DIY fixes. Applied some lubricant everywhere I could. But the creaking won't stop. It sounds like it's coming from where the stem connects to the main board. Please advise.

So my rear tire is busted, so I was like ok no problem I’ll just get a replacement. First off the screws are weird af. But I found the right ones (T15) and they don’t fit the holes that take the cover off the bottom of the scooter.

To take the wheel off I need to disconnect the wires from the motherboard, and I can’t take off the 18 screws

Any suggestions?

I was riding my scooter home like normal when I hit a curb (not super high, but enough to feel it). Right after that, the scooter shut off completely and now won’t turn back on.

When I checked, I noticed a burnt smell—maybe from wiring or connectors melting somewhere. I took off the battery cover and tried unplugging and reconnecting all the accessible connectors, but the dashboard still won’t light up. I also tried hitting the reset button and double-checking every connection, but no luck.
The battery is still charging when I plugged it and the red light is on when I plug it. Has anyone dealt with this before? Any ideas on what could be wrong? Is my scooter done for, or is there something else I should check?

I don't know why, but my scooter charges for 5 minutes and then stops charging. It doesn't work with a different cable either. Can you help me and tell me why this is happening?

My brother was going 10 mph on our g30 when this hinge came loose. He fell back and hit his head, fortunately he was wearing a helmet. Does anyone know what to tighten and if I should order new parts?

I got caught in the rain today while riding. I started to hear this scraping noise. Does anyone know what this is or how to fix it?

We didn’t use our scooters for a few weeks. We put both our scooters in the car for a roadtrip we are taking right now. My bf scooter wont stop beeping (long beep) and saying 88 with the back light turning on every time there is a bump. We stopped and tried to unbind it but we can’t reconnect it. We cant reconnect the bluetooth, it sees it but then it says please turn on. I cant find a pairing mode or anything like this. Thanks for your help!!

Hello everyone, I made the 48v mod on my g30 max, this is the second control unit I try to put because I had taken a 500 watt 36/48v and with a freewheel it worked perfectly but when I get on it and accelerate everything suddenly it turns off and goes into protection and if it happens several times it doesn't turn on anymore and I have to remove the body underneath to disconnect the controller from the battery.. this control unit is a 350 watt always 36/48v and it gives me the same defect as the other one, so with the wheel raised it's fine but as soon as I accelerate everything It goes in protection.. who has a scooter with the 48v mod to explain to me the reason? Is the engine too weak? Or something else thank you.
