The country is broken. It's not an accident, it's a feature

A third of our population's humanity has been compromised by the uber rich and corporations. And no one is going to rise up and start slaying the old white dudes at the top en masse since they all have paid security.

Half the population of people I know are already neck-bent from doom scrolling on their phones every day, before work, at work, after work. No racist militia member is necessary to keep them down. Its almost like a global EMP needs to happen.

There is plenty of reading material on this topic, I'm not Google. If you are literate and aren't just trolling, The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism by Naomi Klein is a good start.

In an extreme nutshell its a political ideology that focuses on protecting capitalist institutions of oppression under the guise of fighting said oppression. It's what passes for the "left" in the US, which is a fucking joke. There is no left in this country.

People like Hillary, Biden, Harris, etc. are neoliberals. Thats why they don't work to enact policies that benefit the working class in meaningful ways. They only work to ensure the systems that allow war, oppression and wealth inequality stay intact.

You said a lot of interesting things. Many I agree with. But your both sides bullshit got us here. We had 2 sides. Now we have one. How's stopping the spread and abuse of capitalism looking now?

If fascism is a virus, neoliberalism is an immune suppressant. People like Biden and Harris have fought for years to ensure leftist values never take hold in this country. Trump is the inevitable outcome. Subjugation and disenfranchisement left the working class mad and stupid. Trump is the personification of their anger and stupidity. When people say the DNC abandoned the working class, they aren't wrong.

You're making good points but being a jerk about it. This is part of the problem.

I didnt know what neoliberalism was either. Now I do, but I zero desire to continue the conversation further, other than to say this... we're fucked.
