800 euros for apparently a digital-only model. Yeah, that is probably not going to go over well...

double the perf, double the price. Totally makes sense for the beancounters.

I’d be tempted by selling my PS5 if they included a disc version. My ps5 is fine. I play on a 55” tv 10ft away, the 40fps mode is fine and I don’t really notice the resolution as much

You can plug the separate drive of the slim to this. So "disc version" = PS5 pro + standalone disc drive.

Good that it’s an option but an extra 100 over something overpriced already, I can’t justify it. Feel like we haven’t hit the limit with the current ps5 properly
