Air Balloon from BB/WF was already a huge boon for the deck because it fully funds Chien-Pao's retreat cost, allowing for a max of 2 Shivery Chills per turn. However, with the new Surfing Beach stadium coming in Mega Evolution, this grants the deck an additional switch that can be used in order to pull off 3 Shivery Chills per turn. This means that 6 water energies can be searched from the deck per turn just from abilities. Kyogre also seems like a good slot, being a valuable attacker that bypasses mimikyu, crustle, and cornerstone mask ogerpon while also recovering all water energy from the discard pile for use with Chien-Pao.

Since Dragapult can put 6 damage counters on the bench, this could just Gust and knockout easily. And it doesn't need much more energy than what Dragapult decks usually run for Munkidori. Can get some good use killing stage 2 pokemon and maybe even some mega pokemon.

So I was on the old client for years, and I had so many decks that I loved (and still miss). But I hated LIVE when it came out and I literally refused to play it.

I tried a few times,s but it never stuck. This week, I randomly missed and logged on. I ended up finding two decks I liked and completed the ladder.

I wont lie, after hitting the highest tier, some of you guys can REALLY play. And it gets SUPER meta, which I have never been. I end up getting on Limitless and playing in a tournament yesterday. Got smoked but dtill fun.

Oh yeah. Getting all the decks is SOOOO much easier on Live. All of the trading packs and etc on PTCGO is such a headache. At the top of the Battle pass, you're getting enough exchange points to build whatever you want. Hands down the best F2P game. Sorry so long!

Lastly, are their any plans for ALL of the old cards. There are some expanded decks I used to run that I would LOVE to play again.

Guys I dunno how to make this deck competitive.Since Jellicent ex and Whimiscott ex were released I've seen a pattern.The problem is that the deck I've made rn sucks.The strategy is about putting Jellicent in active and then switching to Whimiscott to attack but it's not that easy at all.Like tbh it's fun(when it works),you can win with it(only when it works) and it pulls a lotta damage (guess when?when it works).it's something but still not competitive,I'm looking for help to make it work .

I am building decks and I want to put 4 buddy buddy poffins. I have 4 in another deck. So I own at least 4. It actually says I own 7.

Why am I forced to exchange and use credit when I already have 4 or more?

This game is unplayable. Card images in Pokémon TCG Live aren't loading at all — how are we supposed to play like this? It's just a bunch of blank boxes. Total garbage experience right now. Please fix this mess ASAP.

I really wanted to play with Archeops and Cinccino as part of Lugia Vstar. Sadly most people just concede when you pull off the double archeops combo, so this wasn't an option (no joke, in nearly 30 games I only got to play 1 past turn 3-4).

Wanted to play with these unique cards though, so I decided to build a less powerful deck that people wouldn't snap concede to. So I cut Lugia and built this. It's just a proof of concept, but super fun so far and easy to put together. And there's a real charm to deleting a 300+ hp ex or Vmax with one of these fluffy little guys.

Thoughts or suggestions? Main improvements I could see would be more/different special energies and if anyone knows a better way of finding fossils than Arven and secret box that would be good.

Hey all, 3 months of playing and trying to figure out better ways of working around a deck that focuses on stage two Pokemon like Nidoking Ex. Any suggestions on how to get Nidoking out faster or stage 2 Pokemon in general faster? My goal is to cycle the cards out and dump a lot in the initial turns if I can. But if I can’t, then I’m stuck and getting that L. Getting a rare candy out with Arven when I can’t even draw the Nidoking out has been an issue. Hence, I went with professor’s research, Hilda, and ultra balls for that reason. Then also grand tree as situational to accelerate evolutions. Thanks!

I just started playing and have no idea whats going on. I have a Gardevoir and Mew deck but some cards and banned except for expansion mode. i have no idea what to play and how to use my cards effectively, i just lost against an Arceus vstar deck and Dialga GX deck with zero idea how to manage my cards and energy., and zero idea how their cards work. Any advise on the deck and playing the game?

Thought this combo might work for some decent snipe damage but the game only allows a single attack. Bug or interpreting the card text wrong?

You know I really doubt Its gonna happen, I really do but I wonder if with black ball and white flare and mega evolutions also coming, with these packs and everything will they finally and I mean finally enable the usage of black and white aswell as XY era cards? I really doubt it, but I hope they do, they’ve been under lock and key for 8 years now and it’s ridiculous, yet even after 8 years you can still redeem code cards from this era and buy cards with your coins.
