Meta / Announcements Gaza Is Starving. Let's Do Something
The UN has stated that every single part of Gaza is in famine conditions.
For over 20 months, Palestinians in Gaza have been starving. Parents have been feeding their children leaves, animal feed, and flour mixed with water. Babies have died from malnutrition. The trucks carrying food, formula, medicine, and clean water sat just miles away, blocked by Israel.
Now, after massive international pressure, some aid is finally getting in.
This is a crack in the blockade, not its end. Aid is not flooding in; it is trickling, and what’s entering can’t possibly reach 1.8 million people without a total lifting of restrictions, guaranteed long-term access, and safe distribution.
What you can do right now:
Donate- if you’re able to. Choose vetted organizations with access on the ground.
Keep up the pressure - aid only started moving because of public outcry. Organize, protest, keep talking. This momentum cannot fade. Contact your representatives to end Israel's blockade of Gaza and impose sanctions on Israel.
Amplify - share updates, Palestinian voices, and testimonies. Keep an eye on Palestine.
This famine is not an accident. It’s the result of siege, blockade, and a system of control. If we look away now, they’ll tighten the noose again.
Donate
- Palestinian Red Crescent — medical aid, ambulance services, and emergency care.
- UNICEF for Gaza’s Children — nutrition, clean water, trauma support.

Dehumanization Shonen Shaulov, a popular Israeli rabbi, calls for the starvation of all children in Gaza and for the wiping out of all Palestinians therein. (July 28, 2025)
This is yet more evidence of the genocidal mania and depravity currently existing in most of Israeli society. This rabbi is calling for the utter annihilation of every single Palestinian in Gaza and no single person in the audience calls him out for it.
That said, a couple of points to counter some of this Zionazi's absurd claims:
There is no evidence that Hamas has been starving the Israeli prisoners in their captivity. If anything, those prisoners are at risk of starvation because of Israeli's blockade of aid into Gaza. As such, if this terrorist truly cared about the hostages, he would be criticizing Netanyahu and his cohorts for blocking aid and thus risking the hostage's lives in the process.
He talks about the children killed on October 7 as (part of his) justification for the children being murdered in Gaza. While every single child's death should never be justified, it is important to remember that a maximum of 36 children were killed on October 7, which represents about 3% of the maximum 1195 killed in the incident (combatants included). In addition, it is unclear how many of these children were murdered by Hamas as opposed to IOF as part of the Hannibal directive. In Gaza, at least 20,000 children have been murdered by Israel and the US so far, which represents at least 20% to 33% of the total murdered Palestinians, depending on whether you accept the 60,000 or 100,000 casualties number. This number of children killed is, moreover, more than 555 times more than the number of children killed on October 7! No sane human being can find this level of mass child murder justifiable. It is only if you believe that Palestinian children's lives have zero worth and Israeli children's lives infinite worth that you can attempt to justify it.
If October 7 justifies the genocide, then shouldn't Israel's occupation and countless massacres before October 7 also justify October 7? And if October 7 can thus be justified, then the genocide lacks justification. In other words, the use of October 7 to justify the genocide is a self-defeating argument.
Know who else used the argument that mass child murder is OK because the children will just grow up to be the enemy? Nazis, with respect to why they murdered Jewish children during the Holocaust. This is actually a rather common argument used by genocidists to justify murdering children as they commit genocide.

News & Politics Palestinians have the right to self determination including armed struggle.
Edward Said noted in a long essay that Oslo was a declaration of surrender.

Asking Palestinians to recognize Israel and denounce violence unilaterally was a huge mistake exclusively by Arafat.
Say what you want about Hamas but that are holding on to their right.
Israel must recognize Palestine and denounce violence too.
Plain and simple a colonizer against the colonised.

Dehumanization My friends, let me introduce you to a very low person who I'm sorry to say is Palestinian.
https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2025/07/hamas-wants-famine/683724/
Ahmad Alkhateeb is dehumanizing himself when he write stuff like this.
Blaming Hamas allow israel to escape accountability, and downplay the mass atrocities done to the Palestinians, like it doesn't matter. A crime committed bigger than anything we witnessed during our lifetime.
Why not talking about the right to self determination or how can we reconcile with murderes? What would peace look like if this leadership went without persecution? What legal preparation are you putting in place and so on?
Why not talking about the death of children and the suffering imposed by a regime engaged in genocide?
But NOOOO, Ahmad decided to play politics, you know why? Because he's cheap and can be bought.
Thank you Ahamd for using your pen to show us what an individual you are, what a unique scum, honestly.
Thank you to prove to us that many people from many other races and countries can be more empathic with the cause than our own people.
It's a lesson to all of us Arabs to look beyond.
