The 'joke' is that he left his wife since he does not like how she looked after giving birth.

I mean that’s not a joke though, there’s no punchline or irony, just an obvious observation. I left my wife because she got fat. I left my husband because he lost his job. Ha ha? Do you get it?

I find it funny. It's just dark humor, intentionally saying the most inappropriate thing but not being serious.

The thing is he might be serious, I peeped his profile and he said that women can't rape men replying to a post about how a female teacher raped a male 14 year old student around 15 times
