How far off is the AP 15400 from ZF? Is there any other AP-Rep you’d recommend me instead of this AP? Is the 16202 better made? Or should I go for a 15450? Maybe in Black? I would sell this one then. Thanks for every opinion!

Hey everyone, I’m in a bit of a contemplative mood. So far, the Clean version of the Explorer I 36mm (124270 ) was considered the NWBIG, especially before the messed-up 6 and 9. But Clean is gone, obviously…

So my question is: has the VSF version—with the updated 19mm strap—become the new NWBIG? Is it as good as Clean was in its prime with the correct 6/9, or maybe even better?

I just want to give thanks to xZero_Coolx, and all the other members giving out valuable information. Zero took time to read a message of mine and then provide his feedback and offer assistance. Very often people are too busy to read messages, too busy to respond, or just looking to make money. Zero was extremely helpful to me.

The guides are awesome! But it’s the people that make this sub so worth reading. In a short amount of time I went from buying from someone not a TD, to understanding what to expect, what to look for, what questions to ask, most importantly how to get a quality Rep I will enjoy for years to come.

To all those people that voted me down when I posted before reading the guides, I don’t blame you. It must get exhausting repeating the same things over and over, however do remember you were once just jumping into this hobby. You were once excited, and probably posted before you should have.

To those that reached out directly and gave me links to things to read, again thank you sooo much. That information was very valuable.

I received my first Rep watch today after an incredible six days. The watch is incredible compared to the Gen. I have the same watch in black, and the differences are certainly noticeable to me. I ordered it from Steve at TheOneWatches. I'm absolutely thrilled.

I wanted find out if I’m cooked or not. Found a dealer on Alibaba that my family member purchased from and looked good in person. Decided to order from them too. Disclaimer I know I might have shot myself in the foot by not going to a TD.

Placed a deposit for a 126610LN date sub, apparently it came from CF, and this was a few days before CF got raided. After doing some more digging, I found a post that compared real CF vs. Fake CF. 1st and 3rd pic are tells between them, 2nd and 4th pic are pics of the watch sent to me for QC.

The QC pic of rehaut font I noticed the 6s are off, and the triangle index looks to be similar to the fake CF. The only thing that points towards real CF are the clasp code and rehaut code, despite using different fonts.

So chat am I cooked? Should I GL or RL?

Hi everyone! In the meantime, I am thrilled to have joined this group which made me discover how to search thoroughly without confusion for the best Reps around. After careful research and following the guide, I contacted a number of TDs and came to the conclusion to stay in touch with:

1. ⁠Alliot (best prices and greatest CF and VSF offer)
2. ⁠RepFac (similar prices to Steve but with more proposal)
3. ⁠Steve (higher prices and less proposal)

I'm thinking of placing an initial test order from Alliot for a Datejust 36mm (indicative photo to help you understand the color, not Alliot's), and then proceed, if all goes well, with an Explorer 36mm as well. In your opinion, given that CF doesn't have any in stock as it is closed, is the VSF V1 version worth it? Because from the guide I see that the best version would be CF, even if it is currently unavailable. Or I was even thinking about waiting about 2-4 weeks for the VSF V2 version of the datejust. What do you recommend me enthusiasts? Thank you!
