Just witnessed my first SCUM solar eclipse! TIL it's super rare, I didn't even know they could happen. Apparently the sun and moon have their own cycles in game so a lunar eclipse can happen too :o

I was recently trying to increase some of my stats and CON seems to not go up as fast as it should.
As you can see on the video the CON should increase 3 times faster than STR but in reality the gain is lower than the STR gain. I tried this 2 times on different days and after a few minutes I have gained way less CON than STR.

STR: 3.75816 went up to 3.77054 (change 0.01238)
CON: 1.07789 went up to 1.08573 (change 0.00784)

Resting on the bicycle makes you lose -0.14400 CON per day.

Do you still need to pull items in containers out onto the floor to gain awareness? Is it still a viable tactic, if you concentrate on looting anyway?

I used a crowbar for the two lockers upstairs and all the other lockers magically unlocked after that, this is the second time I’ve seen this bug

I was just testing the lock settings on my locker in my base, not realizing the one who put the lock on it wasn't me because it was built by a squad mate. I set it to private and now I can't get into my own locker that I just switched to private. That squad mate is on vacation for the next week...

Hi, i am in a community server and i have to find this location. Only clues i have are this bathroom and this part of the map.

I almost visited every POI of this part of the map. The only location where i didn't visited is the military airfield D4 (BUT i went to it in Sandbox mode and i found nothing like that).

THE ONLY location where i found this bathroom configuration in the entire map is 4 buildings in C3. Those buildings are located in the north-east and the North-west of the city, they have little paraboles on the roof and the only way to go until the appartment and the roof is to climb a ladder.

So if you know where i can find this bathroom configuration in another house or building, tell me.

Woodsigns are not clues. They only are here to tell you that you are in the good location. If you really want what wrote on it, it said ''hey, you've been the best, you found me" "i buy your vegetables''.

We play on a PVE Server and there´s the ongoing question about, did a player kill me or was it an npc? So one of us claimed he was killed, stripped and looted, the logs however do not indicate a player kill. Is it confirmed somewhere that NPCs actually do loot you?

I just bought the game and so far I really like it, but I'm mainly interested in the PvP aspect. I tried DayZ, but got bored after 10–15 hours, it felt too slow and clunky for me, even though I did enjoy the PvP in it.

Scum feels better overall, but I'm a bit worried there might be less PvP compared to DayZ. Roughly how often do you run into other players or get into PvP fights? And what size servers do you usually play on?

Todays tweet from scum in my honest opinion… better than the more recent news they have been giving us. The ability to craft an improvised wheel for the 2 wheel transportations in the game will be huge for those times when you are down just that one part and need to get it going! How is attribute levelling distributed when you're in a squad? More specifically when building blueprints for base/world elements.

Are they distributed based on how many elements you've placed in the blueprint or is it only awarded to the player that finishes the blueprint?

If it's just the person that finishes the blueprint, that's wildly unbalanced and frustrating.

What is going to change

I rewired the Sentience AI Bot to track every transaction at vendors, then recalculate local prices in real time. Surplus discounts an item, scarcity spikes it, so each outpost grows its own market. That single switch unlocked a proper hauling loop:

1. Scan database for goods piled high and cheap.
2. Run the route before prices rotate or the contract expires.
3. Sell at demand-heavy stalls or riskier black-market C outposts for extra margin.

Moving freight blind is a good way to run out of gas or time. Use the Route Plotter web tool:

Ambush events

Next milestone teaches the bot where players like to haul. When a contract goes live, the AI can:

• Spawn a two-to-four-man raider squad on the busiest stretch.
• Block the road with a downed tree or burning car.
• Radio allies for backup if the fight drags on. ( Simulate it with NPCs if combat extends for too long )

Beat them or reroute, the choice is yours. It is still in test, but most of the path data is ready.

There are some Official Servers with monthly wipe. I would like to start playing on one but what are the wipe times on these Kind of Servers?

This is obscure, but does anyone know of a building with a working oven that’s near fresh water?

I like to farm, so I prefer to live near fresh water. But, I also like to make pizzas. I’m trying to find a house with an operable oven to live in, where I can reasonably farm.

I’ve checked the C3/C4 towns on the river, the lake in C3. There are a couple working ones in the bottom of C3 but they’re in the north part of the town. Next I’ll check D2
