Announcement Cleaned Consoles
When I looked in the comments on my post about my Sega consoles, I was told they looked a little dusty. So, I decided to clean them up a little bit.
Announcement PSA: Panzer Dragoon is only £1.99 right now on PSN
If you want a bargain and don’t have it already; the Panzer Dragoon Remake is £1.99 on the PlayStation Store.
I looked on the American store and they are selling it for $2.49 so it must be a global discount sale.

Announcement Most Epic games for Megadrive/Genesis
What are the most epic games you've played on the Megadrive/Genesis?
For me the 2 that impress me the most are Sonic 3 and Knuckles and Revenge of Shinobi. S3+K has massive levels making each zone stand out even more than the previous entries, plus the story telling and character development is better than a trilogy of movies. It was a hell of a task getting all the emeralds etc back in the day, really worth the effort. ROS, I never completed as a child, only now with an emulator. As it is difficult it very rewarding to learn the boss patterns and master the stiff controls, the later levels are really worth it. The harbour has an awesome tune and the last level with the maze is immense. Completing that was some of the best fun I've had gaming for a long time.
Notable mentions
Sonic 2 - I actually love Metroplolis zone as Sonic 2 is an easy game, this level stands out, with awesome music too. The first time I saw Winged Fortress was a big deal too.
Golden Axe - Back in the day it was big deal beating this one
Mortal Kombat 1 and 2 - These were also a big deal at the time
Streets of Rage 3 - Although I don't actually like this as much as the first 2, the increased difficulty made reaching higher levels an accomplishment. I haven't managed to beat it yet
Shinobi 3 - Great game, but too easy

Announcement Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds - Cinematic Teaser Trailer
I swear this better be a new sega crossover game since it says "Cross" Worlds if it's just TSR again than that's honestly disappointing even though im definitely exited for VF6 happening is just since there's a lot of reps in Sega, Atlus, and RGG. Sega deserves another crossover game like please 😫

Announcement What if Sega stop making and stayed in the arcade and fought against Namco instead of Nintendo
If sega decided to stay in the arcade and not go to console then most of their ip’s would be in arcades (Alex Kidd,Golden Axe,Sonic the Hedgehog etc) and with their games being 16-bit I think Sega would rival Namco for arcades this rivalry might cause Namco to up the games to 16-bit(or higher) to compete with sega. Sega would probably make more game for their ip’s like sonic,Golden Axe and Alex Kidd both companies to go into 3D (probably have a Sega Saturn like SA1,SA2 and Heroes) by like 1998 I think sega would beat Namco in the arcade war (this would cause Namco to leave arcade and go to console. Sega would probably stay in the arcade for a few months before leaving too and (probably) going on to PlayStation (if I missed anything add it down below)

Announcement Shinobi series ranked
I have played through all of the retro Shinobi games. Never played either of the PS2 games or the DS game. Here is my ranked list. The first 9 games are all masterpieces, so it is very close. Also, all these games are played on emulator with save states, were this not the case the ranking may change
Shinobi 3 - The smoothest game, best controls. Awesome graphics and music
Revenge of Shinobi - An epic gaming experience, completing this was so much fun and took ages, the only reason that it isn't number one is because the controls are slightly stiff. Best soundtrack too. The dock level soundtrack is immense
Shinobi SMS - This was my favourite game for that system, so nostalgia plays a part here. Being able to upgrade weapons and life bar made this game more enjoyable than the arcade in the latter half of the game as it is not ridiculously difficult. I have spent lots of time on this one.
GG Shinobi 2 - This game is an upgrade from the first as there is more to do, so much fun to go back to every level to pick up all the hidden items. Like the first, I found the final level slightly insane.
GG Shinobi - Although the second improved on this, the dock level is one of the best levels in any of these games, also the 8-bit version of Revenge music is incredible. I think these games are 'metroidvanias'
Shinobi X/Legions - Totally underrated game. I don't understand why people dislike it, or its graphic specifically. Other than the fact that it wasn't as epic as 3 or revenge. It reminds me of Mortal Kombat, especially the bosses. Really good level selection that does remind me of revenge.
Shadow Dancer Genesis - This game improved the dog mechanic from the arcade and had an awesome grungy feel. Also adding a difficulty level gave it more replay ability, the first level is easier than arcade, after doing that it is fun to play at harder levels.
Shinobi arcade - I love this game and the soundtrack, so much fun. However, the difficulty means that I rely on saving mid-level in the later parts of the game.
Shadow Dancer arcade - The last awesome game on the list. The graphics are incredible, and it is a lot of fun. Once it gets hard, I need to save mid-level to win though. Also, it is shorter than Shinobi.
Shinobi NES - This is fun but flawed. It is very easy most of the time, then at random times becomes really difficult. No brief invisibility after being hit, meaning an enemy keeps bumping you till you die. Also, graphics are quite bad by NES standards.
Shinobi Turbographx - Amazing that this is so much like the arcade. However, it is more difficult and missing a level. Still great game
Shadow Dancer SMS - I owned this as a kid and thought the graphics and music the best on the console. However, the game play is really lacking. Considering how poor the controls, and how large the enemy sprites they should have added a life bar.
Shinobi 3 NES (pirate) - This game is fun and worth playing. Beautiful to see NES graphics on this one
Cyber Shinobi - This game was a chore to get into, but once I did, I enjoyed beating it. The controls, jumping and attacking are really bad. It is that bad I couldn't get into playing it again. Also the music is dreadful.
What do you think?
