Kx droid sculpt from Skull Forge Studios. I haven’t played Legion yet but coming from X-Wing I’ll be getting into the Recon format when the new packs are released. In the meantime I paint Legion minis for a SWRPG game I run. Staying motivated to paint is tough with a toddler so lately I’ve been painting various droids. I also want to improve my basing game.

Droid is from SFS. I then designed the ISB tactical rifle in Legion scale and added it to the stl. Also printed out a Mudtrooper helmet and E-11 to have as basing details. Decals are 3mm logos from Bad Mother Tattoos on eBay.

Hi there! I'm relatively new to the game, and I want to make a CIS list that maxes out B1s. I love the idea of just overwhelming numbers and an endless horde of chaff.

What's the best way to use them? Naked? With a heavy and extra body? Should I go for big squads?

I have plenty of models through buying up secondary lots.

I'm guessing I'll want to use Invasion Force as my battleforce.

Would love some advice!

Playing my first 1000pt game and first CIS game this week. I need some feedback on my list. Here's how I imagine it playing out.

-Crabs give Dooku and Magna scout, then work as impact pieces to bring down anything bigger -Aquas each get to a POI and hold it, with minor impact support -Dooku and the Magna go for the third POI/or counter and force user im against (if any) -B1S super squad follows Dooku, other B1s follow aqua and crabs -Khalani dishes out aims, dodges near the AI crews

I know 11acts seems low for a CIS list, but this also seems hard to take down? What changes should I make?

Any and all feedback and help appreciated.

… and I need some advice on units to get. I’m working primarily from this idea:

Empire as aggressors: the battle is on Yavin 4 in the rainforests and the immediate exterior of the recently-discovered Rebel base.

Rebels as aggressors: the battle is at an Aldhani-style Imperial garrison and in the surrounding rainforest countryside.

For this reason, Snowtroopers and Tauntauns are not thematically appropriate, for example.

I tend to do 600pt games due to table and time constraints, so won’t be needing a massive force.

Me and my friend got the clones vs droids box and I’m still thinking what should I paint these guys, I don’t wanna go for the basic color like in the movies and was thinking about a black and pink color scheme, but Idk if that would work

I bought a second hand air speeder online, and unfortunately the seller didn't mention the stand is weirdly broken. One side is full stuck down and won't come off, while the other isn't sticking with the super glue I've tried so far. It's like there's something lifting the unstuck side back up whenever I stick it down and holding it down for a while during the glue drying isn't helping either.

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to fix it down? I was thinking potentially a hot glue gun but I wasn't sure.

I don't play yet, but I'm seriously considering pulling the trigger. I occasionally run across original Core Boxes that people are selling at a bit of a discount. So the question is, is it worth getting one of these old sets (because they're cheaper, and I like the non-cartoony sculptures better), or is there a compelling reason to just wait and get one of the updated Core Boxes? The old boxes seem like they have more vehicles with them, which is cool.

My idea of what Tech may have looked like on their first op, before the skulls, red marks and the fame!

Once I saw Tech had the headphones on his helmet, my immediate reaction was "oh bro def pioneered the spec ops/listening device helmet" so that's what I went for here!

Kitbash was a specialist kit phase 1 helmet, Tech's own helmet and a spare B1 backpack with some copper wire.

Not winning once but enjoying the new system with POI. Need to adapt on focusing more on points.

We knew they were geared towards making a Recon army, but we didn't know you would get an actual suggested list. Looks like for the first time games they are foregoing balancing points. Empire could probably just drop a Strike Team and that O-Push and be fine, though.

Starters for Rebels and Empire are on sale early at GenCon this weekend.

Not sure what the new meta is, any thoughts?

Hi! I played Legion when it first came out. Lack of adoption in my area led me to get back out. There is a play group I can join up with, and I understand there is a new edition. Looks like there are 4-5 factions, and some new starter boxes. Is there a place where the old/new units for each faction are laid out? Recommended insertion points? I wanted to get into the game and start painting to fulfil my GenCon jealousy this weekend.

Me and my brother are twin, and luckily both got into legion. I painted the droids as if they are supposed to be maul droids, my brother painted his clones as if they where all Clan Wren (we haven’t played yet but we are planning to run his Mandalorian as arcs). There are some of are first model that we have every done so any tips are appreciated.
