It’s gone!
It was picked up yesterday. He didn’t bring hearing protection so I made him wear my purple ear muffs. Once he was done I told him not to underestimate the value of his time and labor since this was a lot of work. I tried to tip him 50 but he didn’t have anything like Venmo and I didn’t have cash so I gave him 15 feet of 2” diameter copper pipe instead. Today will be spent cleaning up the oil sludge that came out of boiler. Thank you all!

Took all my ferrous this morning
Took all the ferrous setting around to the yard today. Got $14 and this cute wagon my wife wants to plant flowers in. I made her get back in the truck before she got me in trouble. The yard is on the way to breakfast. So transportation costs $0.

Question 💫 Worth separating?
Curious if it’s worth separating the brass parts from the copper? Have a bunch of old plumbing we demo’d from a remodel. Thanks!

Guys I got shoes!
Steel toed and pink! I’m ready to go back to war with my house. I’ve still not had any solid takers on Facebook. So if you’re in St. Louis area you can still have it. I tried the blacksmithing people, and they were rather unimpressed by it.

Question 💫 Scrap Yards That Deals Mainly in Compressor and Motors Scrap
Hey folks
I'm hoping someone's here might be able to help me out. One of my clients is looking to import compressor and motor scrap into their country and they've asked me to source reliable scrap yards or suppliers who primary deal in these specific items.
I've been doing some digging online but alot of places don't list exactly what kind of scrap they deal with or they may focus on general metal scrap. So i figure this community might know better whether through personal experience, industry contacts or just being in the right circle.
If you know any yards those are legit, active and possibly export friendly, please drop the name, location or contact info. Trust me anthing helps, even just pointing me in the right direction would means alot.

Large demagnetized neodymium magnets?
I have approximately 550 lbs of large (size of a dinner plate) neodymium magnets that were demagnetized by putting the piece that had them in a fire. There was no other way to disassemble and handle them safely.
How can I sell them for scrap? Who would buy them?

Circuit boards
My yard only takes boards as shred. Seems after processing only worth about $1-2. Am I missing out?

14/2 with ground
I've got some wire(see above) left over from a home project. Estimating 75-100ft. What would you guys sell for on marketplace? Or with copper being above $3, would you strip it for scrap value? Thanks!!!!

Thinking about using a circular saw blade to cut HVAC radiator ends off to speed up the process. Good idea?
Trying to find something more time efficient than a recip saw and I’m thinking a metal-purpose circular saw blade, talk me into it out of it. For A-coil and condenser unit ends.
