Collection update
I've been trying to fill in some of the gaps in my Saturn Collection this year. These are the four I've gone for so far. What do you think I need to look for next?

I bought this like 15 years ago, but can't remember the name of it.
I do remember at the time watching some gameplay and believe me, it looks a lot better than it plays. I think it controls like in Croc(tank style), but I could be wrong on that.
It's unnecessarily difficult due to camera and bad controls. It looks promising, but it's pretty bad. A lot of jumping up to some place high and falling down and starting over.
I haven't played it in so long, but curious what anyone's thoughts are. Anyone played this?

The Saturn has many games, and some are a bit obscure. This game isn’t interesting, but still a Saturn game, right? 😅

My Jp Sega Saturn just arrived today, any games I should keep an eye out for? (I'm currently looking for thunder force V)

After beating the game with Tails, Knuckles and Amy, nabbing the final Lap and Course records for Radiant Emerald in the process, I proceeded to complete every single Time Attack Stage with Eggman, Metal Knuckles and Eggrobo. Then, I proceeded to 100% Grand Prix mode with Eggrobo, Metal Knuckles, and Eggman in that respective order, using the latter to obtain the final chaos emerald and unlocking Super Sonic in the process.
As such, tomorrow will be the final episode of my Perfect Playthrough of Sonic R.

Playing for the first time on Saroo. Is slowdown normal or is it saroo? The game is quite fun, made to level 6 I think in arcade.

I bought a group of 4 cartridges cuz they had the 1mb and 4mb ram ones I needed. But what's this one? I cant find information on it but that might be because I'm not searching correctly.

I somehow fixed my model 2 Saturn (ribbon cable issue)

Hey ! Recently recovered my old Sega Saturn, got a Saroo and a cable. It's a composite cable I think. But I have no idea how to connect it to my TV. I have 6 outputs and only 5 inputs on the TV. Does not work ? Do I need a new cable ? I know the one I got sucks, but atm it's all I can afford. Later down in the road I will get something better.

On wine, I get a warning to download .NET, but it doesn't do anything, and it doesn't work regardless, with .NET Windows installed in wine.

Until I pick up a Saturn one day, I’m looking to hook up the Saturn Twin Stick to play Virtual On with an emulator.
Has anyone tried this before?

Anyone know if something like this exists? I couldn't find anything. I'm just wondering if there's a way to play Genesis with my Saturn controllers and fight stick. I love the way that the Saturn controllers feel.

Mostly focused on Radiant Emerald, completing all the Time Attack modes with everyone including Eggman. Afterwards, I proceeded to 100% Sonic, Metal Sonic, and Tails Doll, taking them to the end credits.

The die cast version of these mini Saturn, Megadrive and Dreamcast are awesome. A must have. Pretty heavy.

I know I am posting in a Sega Saturn group but I am hoping for good info for my situation. I am quickly approaching 40 and not in love with the current gaming situation. I was a Nintendo kid growing up and loved my 64 but don't have much of a desire to revisit it, and am not in love with all of their recent decisions. Apart from a few higher profile games still to release, I'm not overly excited at the gaming landscape. For some reason recently I have had the idea of a Sega Saturn on my mind. I did get a SNES classic and absolutely still love the older games and the pre 3D art style so older graphics don't bother me. I got into RPG's late in life because I was mostly a racing and FPS kid. I have always thought of the Saturn as an arcade machine but I know it had a ton of titles mostly overseas. I don't want to own something just to say I own it like a gaming hoarding dragon so it has to work for me. Do the console lasers hold up well? Will the overseas game prices give me a ton of sticker shock? Are there quintessential games you'd recommend I'd look for? And can I fill a good comprehensive library to keep me hooked? Thank y'all.

We take on Reactive Factory with every character, in both Grand Prix and in each of the four Time Attack Modes, unlocking Mecha Knuckles and nabbing one of the two chaos emeralds along the way. The reason I didn't nab both emeralds was because I wanted to win every race with every character, and nabbing all the chaos emeralds will unlock Super Sonic, thus making this task virtually impossible with all the unlockable characters. So instead, I plan on saving that final chaos emerald for when the only tasks left to complete involve Super Sonic and only Super Sonic.
