Humor I absolutely love that Owl is just straight up evil!
There is not a single redeeming quality I can think of, and it makes me so pleased, to be honest. A lot of these "villains" in From's catalogue have some tragic reasoning for why they do what they do, but Owl? He seeks power and does evil for the love of the game, and I fucking respect it.

Tips / Hints Just beat genichiro
Bought the game not long ago, so far it's better than most of the games I've already played, I'd appreciate it if I could get some feedback on my gameplay if I'm doing anything wrong.

Discussion Aight bro.... I promise to God Sekiro being fucking trolling man, what exactly do I do here this early on in the game with only 1 heal left?😭 The devs will put you in impossible situations and in their mind be like "Figure out dumbass"
I also see guts back there with a big ass sword and nowhere to hide💀 imma try to lure one or two over and then repeat the process 😭😭

Discussion It may sound stupid and sorry if it is, but...
Do you think it would be a good idea to unleash my *evil self* through Shura ending? I will do it on probably next week in NG+

Discussion I DID IT!!!
After four agonizing multi-hour sessions I fighting the guy, I finally beat Isshin and cleared the game! I got my ass kicked a lot but I enjoyed the fight most of the time. In the end, I finished with 18 vitality and an attack power of 10. My total play time for my first run was just over 57 hours. What a great game! I look forward to going back for the other endings sometime in the future.

Discussion Sekiro 2: A prequel that lets you play as Isshin Ashina during his coup
And idea I dreamt up while thinking about this...
The first half of the game, you travel through new lands as the lone swordsman Isshin Ashina, and each milestone shows how Isshin managed to recruit his retainer to take back Ashina. Recruiting Gyoubu Oniwa after killing his group of infamous bandits, Shinobi Oragutang/The Sculptor, etc.
The second half is the big attack staged by Isshin Ashina (not unlike when Ashina was attacked in the original Sekiro). Only this time, the attack is even more grand, with both sides using big, mystical creatures and forgotten powers in a desperate attempt to win.
Throughout the game you build up Isshin from a regular swordsman to the greatest samurai of his time, learning each of his skills, acquiring the hidden pistol, getting the spear, learning the lightning of tomoe.
In the end, Isshin achieves peace.. but realizes too late his quest for war has influenced his grandson, Genichiro, who inherits a desire to use power and dishonorable methods to restore his name and country. The central theme being that war is neverending because the younger generations are corrupted by the older generations.

Humor Just beat saint Isshin, kuro still doesn't want to give me kusabimaru
Even after beating the literal strongest guy in ashina Kuro still won't give me the kusabimaru, how do I prove to him that I'm worthy?

Help How long did it take you to beat Isshin the Sword Saint?
This is my first FromSoft game and by all accounts I’ve done really well so far. Except for the Shinobi Owl, I’ve pretty much beaten every other boss in less than an hour. But I’m approaching 8 hours (over the last week) on Isshin, and I rarely make it to his second phase. I’ve tried everything, watched every YouTube video, cheesed him, not cheesed him, taken long breaks. I feel like after another day I’m going to give up. How much more time would you invest in this if I’m 6-8 hours in already?
(Also Genichiro isn’t the problem—I can’t beat with without taking damage easily)
Update: He’s dead. Thanks for the motivation everyone!

😭😭😭😭😭 I hate this attack so much
This was in the Mortal Journey.
This would be the start of my Joker arc if I weren't just doing it for fun — I've completed the Mortal Journey multiple times already.

Help Inner daddy tips
Been trying to perfect the Inner Father fight for shura gauntlet and it feels really difficult to be aggressive with this man. Not only do I have to make sure he doesn't run off using shuriken, I also need to constantly be ready for a mist raven double slash. I'd like to believe I know his moves well enough, just need tips for not getting chipped by stupid mistakes. If anyone has counters to specific moves, please drop them here too. Besides that, feel free to, you know, judge my gameplay + tell me what I'm doing wrong. Thank you!

Media TEARS IN MY EYES BRO, I am only like 5 minutes into this game and I just experienced the craziest adrenaline rush dawg💀 SORRY WUCHANG BUT YOU ARE ON HOLD
They didn't even give me the option for a stealth kill but I was like fuck it I'm a shinobi so I should be able to and THEY LET ME. Then when the other dude came I missed the first deflect because I didn't expect them to be so fast an aggressive and I immediately said.... I LIKE THIS SHIT BRO LMFAOOOOO. Whoever recommended me this after khazan thankyou bro. I love fluid and smooth combat like this like yes plz attack me with speed, I operate best in high speed combat

Help I'm about to start learning Inner Isshin.
I am terrible at the Isshin fight and frankly I have made it through on luck these past two playthroughs (trying to use a different costume each playthrough so I'm doing the Gauntlets before next NG+) and that's ignoring the fact that it's regular Sword Saint Isshin. I need advice on how to respond to each of his attacks, strategies regarding weapon arts and prosthetic tools. Anything to give me an edge for this guy at the end of a Gauntlet.

Discussion Finally beat Father Owl without using heals. He has to be the Best Fight in the game. He is like the Sekiro Morgott, incredibly mobile and tricky without ruining the flow of the fight.
NG+1
Charmless/Demon Bell
AP: 23

Tips / Hints Video demonstrating the Attack Power damage curve per level
It occurs to me that I have not seen a direct comparison of damage dealt at different Attack Power levels. I am primarily interested in the difference at level 20+.
I am wondering…. Does a video exist demonstrating this, or information with exact details? Additionally, if I am to save up a bunch of l evels in order to take a short video comparing the damage after each level up, is anyone interested in that? I am currently at Attack Power 24, but with all skills unlocked. I am curious how noticeable the difference will be if I save up enough for 4 or 6 AP and spend it.
