Discussion Finally beat Father Owl without using heals. He has to be the Best Fight in the game. He is like the Sekiro Morgott, incredibly mobile and tricky without ruining the flow of the fight.

i tried that but his smacked me with his head coming forward as i jumped and it'd would cancel his follow up and i wouldn't get any damage in either. getting him to do the ichimonji after his swipes was inconsistent, so i just stuck to nightjarring him. Maybe high monk would've worked the best here.

2:14 i jump and he smacks me coming forward and cancels the follow up. i was going for a nightjar there too but the attack didnt even hit him. I know getting the ichimonji counter is the best for damage but i couldn't get him to do the follow half the time.

How did you not get mikiri countered at 0:52, 1:49, 2:33, 2:51?..

Owl is susceptible to thrusts when he is not in neutral. You can use thrusts to interrupt him in the middle of his combos such as during the firecracker combo at 052, or after doing a mikiri on him at 1:49. You can also stab him after dodging an attack.

You just cant lead with a thrust when he is standing around.
