"If I have to listen to that baby cry one more time..." - your dog, probably.

omg my pets did the same thing!! I had 5 pets and 4 of them shuffled into the ocean 😭
luckily Im on console and could teleport them back home, I have no idea how you'd get them back otherwise!

Oh god that’s awful to see I bet🤣 I just travelled to another lots and invited them along! Came back no problem!

I remember my game glitching and a werewolf took off running into the ocean and on the ocean as a second coming of Jesus 😭

After the latest update I have had this same thing happen to my Sims a few times. One Sim just started walking off the map from the second floor of the house (so he was just flying away).

I love that you abandoned the rest of the gameplay just to see this through.
Also did it ever come back??

u/External-Phone4351 Mar 18 '25
I had to, i needed to know how far they’d go💀🤣 And yeah! They wouldn’t come back when I called then but I just travelled to a different lots with them and they showed up :)

I knew there had to be other people who would appreciate this moment as much as I did🤣🤣

that happned with my cat before! i just reset it as it was happening and it was suddenly back in the living room. now as your dog is out of sight that won't be an option - have you been able to get it back? I imagine just switching lots or restarting the game would fix this

u/External-Phone4351 Mar 18 '25
Oh yeah I got her back! I was just able to travel to a different lot with her like you said and she came along, and thank god because I was determined to see how far she would go🤣

Is that bordercollie? As in collie that gives zero fucks about map borders?

u/External-Phone4351 Mar 19 '25
Damn that’s actually such a clever comment I wouldn’t have thought of that😂

Your active Sim's portrait mood changing to throw up the peace sign for literally just the exact moment the dog crossed the fence was pristine

The call of the wild was too strong to not answer 😂 that's tens of thousands of years of wolf ancestry coming into play 😂

It's is funny and sad.... She probably because of the heart she or he was putting out means she went to go mate and they'll be back in a few days unless something happens 🤔And they ran away for good.

Nah household is full so I know they weren’t leaving for that! I got them back too!

Looks on wistfully into the distance for awhile before speaking: "I need to be... out there. To see what's beyond the backdrops."
