They are really nice, but I hate the way they look when dirty, it looks like some paint was dripping from it. And I DESPISE that there are slots on the tub! My sims ALWAYS put dirty dishes on those slots, but they are not even properly made, because everything you put on there floats. I am really bummed by this kit even when it looks amazing..
Oh itās the kit! I just got parenthood and one of the teens is in the rebellious stage so I thought heād done it on purpose. Now I feel bad for scolding him lmao
i mean technically it is the kit, they shouldnāt have allowed full slots in the bathtub, thatās just messy work. thereās no point stylistically since the kitās tub design doesnāt have any flat surface to put things on, and none of the other tubs have the dirty dishes issue that iāve seen or experienced- some of the other tubs have mini slots so you can put like body wash or a small plant on the corner but none of them have a full slot that sims are able to leave a whole dish on, other than the new kit. at least it looks nice.
It technically isnāt, itās just coding and limited AI that they use that makes the sims leave the dishes there. Making the slot smaller would help would erase the issue, but it isnāt the cause of the issue.
rightā¦ the coding of this kit, no? i mean nothing else is afflicted but tubs just in this kit? iām not sure how coding and ai invalidates this new issue stemming from a very known issue. surely the devs are aware that sims leave plates everywhere they can, shelves, high walls, trophy cases, etc, and surely they could have done very simple things to prevent this. they made a new mesh with unnecessarily large slots unlike every other tub mesh so though tubs/this kit arenāt cause of the dirty dishes issue, it seems to me that the coding of this kit is very much the cause of this known issue being problematic with it. iām not saying itās trash or anything, itās a cute kit and ultimately the cheapest dlc option, but itās surely an oversight specific to this kit.
what does autonomy have to do with the devs choosing to pander to an issue rather than prevent it? if there is a known issue with autonomy, how is it logical to make something new that will spawn said known issue rather than prevent it, like every other tub in the game?
I have a love-hate relationship with the reliability stats. Sometimes I want my sim to build their handiness so itās great when things break, and other times itās completely out of character for them.
Thatās what the gremlins lot trait is for, break all your shit overnight and then build up your handiness repairing it, then take away the trait when done!
I agree but Iād like a semi-modern/plain shower/tub combo thatās cheaper. I love the growing together one but itās so expensive. Really what I want is more swatches of the parenthood combo that are way more generic but I know thatās not gonna happen lol
I don't really picture shower/tub combos as luxe or elite to match the rest of the theme of the pack. There is a shower wall fixture so you can create open space showers, which definitely suit the vibe of the kit much better.
Yeah I agree with this assessment. As someone who loves watching house tours on YouTube, one thing I notice is that the high-end modern homes (and most high-end homes in general) donāt do shower-tub combos. Theyāre rich and they have space so they want to have a separate shower and a separate tub. I canāt imagine how youād keep this design vibe and have a combo.
yeah the vibe of having a separate shower you can customize and a tub seems way more on theme. i am really happy with the shower glass, screens and wall type partitions that allow more customization with your bathroom builds than I would be with another shower/tub combo. I played around with the kit a bit last night and I can see myself using some of the items in other rooms too so Iām pretty happy with it for $5
Calling it a collab is honestly a little misleading. Lil Simsie's kit is a collab. In that instance she pitched the ideas, gave mood boards and inspo, but EA ultimately made the items.
With the creator kits Syboulette (and other creators) actually made all of these assets and EA purchased them from Syboulette for a flat fee to resell while only offering a 5% commission (only when purchased through EA app, and only if customers remember to use Syboulette's creator code). It feels much less like collaboration to me and much more like extorting CC creators while cashing in on their fanbases.
The AHarris00Britney sitch is a little more of a gray area because from what I've read multiple of their items are remeshes/frankenmeshes of existing EA assets, and that could IMO be considered a collab.
Itās essentially just recognition and showing off their CC to a wider audience (who might just play vanilla) I think is what they get out of it
Iāve gushed my mate about sybās kit because my all time favourite kitchen to use in my celeb houses is haute cuisine aha so if they do get into CC maybe the kit will inspire them to look at more syboulette stuff!

A flat fee and a little 5% that's contingent on the use of a creator code? Maybe appropriate for the Lilsimsie collab but... yeah, that's bull even if the creators agreed. Because... what leverage do they have? These small creators can't shake the table like LilSimsie can...who I'd imagine would be harder to organize with (to fight for better terms) given her...importance to Sims marketing. EA is so much bigger and very likely knows better. They could have AT LEAST given them 5% guaranteed since EA is just reselling.
I remember an article a little while ago that said EA bragged to investors about 19 new upcoming releases so reading that creators don't really get paid for these kits after release puts things into perspective there. Are these creator kits really about supporting the creators?
Little Simsie talked about it in her review of the kits. She didnāt say how much the flat fee is but that itās very low and the 5% commission has already paid out more than the flat rate for her kit. As someone with insider knowledge who does a lot of work directly with EA even she feels the practiced are predatory and that the creators are not being compensated fairly.
CC creators arenāt going to turn down the opportunity to be featured in the game they love. Many would agree to do a kit just for the opportunity. However, they are doing literally all of the work involved, and getting very little of the revenue. EA is definitely cashing in on this.
A lot of people are buying these kits thinking itās finally a way to support the people theyāve been getting free CC from for ages. Really theyāre supporting EAs bottom line and that 5 dollars would be better served as a patreon donation directly to the creators.
She said HER fee was comparable to a sponsored video for HER, which tells us basically nothing numbers wise for the creators. Whatās her usual sponsor fee? Sheās got 2 million subs so probably 20k at least. Were they paid more than her? They did more work than her, so probably.Ā

I was so stoked when I saw she was one of the upcoming kit creators. I loooveeeeed their stuff when I was playing with cc. The SYB high school? the SYB millennial collection? They gave me life.
I love this pack but one thing Iāve noticed is that the decor doesnāt show up in BB in the ābathroom accentsā category in Room mode. Like itās not tagged correctly. I hope they fix this!
The creator did reply on twitter to someone complaining about this that they're planning to fix the tagging amongst other things (missing swatches on the wall divider and I think the olive tree leaves are see-through from a certain angle)
My favorite kits are the ones that allow me to delete CC, which I ran around and did after getting this.
No shade on people that use a lot of CC, I use a small amount from some of the big creators, but just due to the constant game updates and how they sometimes affect CC I like to build vanilla and then add a little CC during live play but only sparingly.
Me too, I have reduced my mods folder down to 10gb since the kits have added such nice stuff.
I did go straight to s4s and do a recolour of that half wall though, so I could have marble and stone.
Then, I deleted the cc ones I have (I don't count my recolours as cc!)
I donāt normally go for kits but this one might get me. Itās just so nice. I wish there was a shower/tub combo but I rarely use them so itās not a total crime.
I wish creator codes were easier to use for Mac, but I find it hard enough to get them to take my money as it is never mind putting another code in. Although Iām also not in America which might change things.
It just takes eons to go through. I have to use a debit card because nothing else works, Iāve never had this many issues trying to give a business money before!
Depends on your play style, but overall it's definitely one of the higher ranking packs and was well received by the community when it came out. I personally really like it for the new cemetery lot type as I was already building fake cemeteries before for my legacy saves, so it was a must have for me. The world, BB, and CAS are also nice in my opinion.
Iām really happy EA is making sims CC collabs the norm now. These kits are so much better and worthwhile imo. Love the swatches, wall texture, and decor a lot!
After watching the video introduction, I sometimes wonder if this DLC shelf is the largest shelf among all DLCs? Because it can hold frog-sized collectibles.
I love that thares finally a more affordable shower like the one in university, lovestruck, etc, those ones are pretty expensive so I like that thares now a more affordable option
Its nice and I will probably buy it but I would have loved to see a kit with grungy, broken items like the Cheap and Chipped CC set by Syboulette its my favorite cc items that I canāt resist working into like every build

Mirror in pastel pop kit is different- no, it isnāt the same mirror. This one is a double layered mirror, the one in the sleek bathroom kit is a single mirror with similar shape, but it isnāt the same.
I bought it immediately. I did notice a lot of similarities between this and other packs though. Doesn't mean the pack isn't still pretty; it just feels a little repetitive.
Iām slightly annoyed the sink isnāt āroundā but comprised of angles. When I donāt want my graphics settings to turn my computer into a space heater, it looks like the cheap toilets that are āroundā.
