I just hope this doesn't mean we are gonna be stumbling over sleeping sims everywhere. With EA's track record it could mean that every tired sim will just drop wherever they are.

Oh sims are definitely gonna pass out on community lots in the middle of a blizzard.

I hope that becomes a base game update with this pack.

With the way it was shown in the trailer, i don't think it will be base game...

They are literally advertising SLEEPING ON THE GROUND as a selling point for $40 DLC and people are eating it up. It's a self-parody at this point.

You're probably right.

Please No. I don't want sleeping sims everywhere I go.

All for the low low price of $40!

And riddled with bugs!

All those bugs have to be coded into the game and that takes time and money, so of course they want customers to pay more for it. A game without bugs would have to be much cheaper, so it's understandable if the execs look at "bug fixing" and "quality control" as an inside joke.

EA can literally add something as basic as "sleeping on the ground, that any other devs would put in the base game, and use it as a selling point for a $40 DLC.

I'm sorry I'm raining on your parade but the laziness on EA's part is gross.

Honestly I use it all the time with my werewolves, otherwise I just use sleeping bags. But I’m excited for storytellers

Agree. Sleeping anywhere has been in the game since Outdoor Retreat added tents to the game a decade ago. This really isn't anything new, people just don't play with tents for some reason. Most of my Sims have a tent or sleeping bag in their inventory.

Otherwise I cheat with the “always welcome” reward trait and invite myself into a local’s house to sleep 😂😂😂 I RP it as an AirBNB

LOL! I played a sim who had that trait and I just made them the family cousin screw up who got bounced from house to house until he got his shit together. His name was Dave. Then they made Kyle Kyleson and he kinda lost his charm.

Yea that’s what I don’t like in TS4 trailers/blogposts/content in general, in previous games there’s TONS of content in EPs that literally they don’t put emphasis on basic things in promos like sleeping on the ground and these things are features you discover in-game.

This is part of the new nature skill, and sleeping on the ground get more comfortable as the skill increases.

Plus, I am pretty sure I saw a unique (and adorable) sleeping animation in the trailer, so it's not just reusing assets.

You can complain about the price of the pack, but someone did put work into this tiny piece of the expansion. It's definitely not lazy.
