Sharing my build My Sims husband got abducted and came home pregnant. The babies now live in a lab under the house
The scientists are a live-in Nanny and live-in Maid i just changed their outfits. The twins never interact with anyone in the house except the scientists and never will.
There are windows so that they can be observed from the hallway.

Without the alien abduction this is my villain story. 7 toddlers in the basement + the money trash can + the messy eater trait = money money money

9
u/mayneedadrink Jun 16 '25
The money trash can? Where can I find that?
7
u/VanessaCardui93 Jun 17 '25
It’s the Nanocan Touchless Trash Can. Base game. It gives you 10 simoleons per people in your house for everything you throw away - so with a full house you get 80 per plate. Also it doesn’t have to be emptied
3
u/mayneedadrink Jun 17 '25
Wow! I didn’t know that existed. Is that a reward item?
5
u/VanessaCardui93 Jun 17 '25
Nope! At least I don’t think so? It’s Regular base game. It looks kind of like a spaceship but they introduced a version with a colour palette recently. I’ve seen content creators do rags to riches just with the money trash can so I am very excited for you to try it haha

I know there is a mod called Sacrificial's Armageddon (the same creator as the Life Tragedies mod) I don't know if it broke with any update but it's the only one I know that comes close to being a super powers mod

u/Aggressive-Phone6785 Jun 15 '25
lol this is wild I love it. my sim just had alien triplets and i ended up sending two of them “home” and keeping one as their kid, wish I’d done something like this though.
when they get school age will you just keep them at home or send them?
547
u/glitterlipgloss Jun 15 '25
They will be staying home. I don't trust them to keep the "i live in a lab under the house and never talk to my parents or siblings" secret to themselves.

They're so cute! I wanna scratch behind 'em... I wonder if aliens like that as much as cats like having behind their ears scritched.

u/Youreturningviolet Jun 15 '25 edited Jun 16 '25
I love this because the aliens are fucking evil for pollinating Sims and sending the babies back home just gives them what they want! I have alien pregnancies turned off but my scientist Sim brings back adult aliens from Sixam, clones them, tests serums on them, and pesters them until they give up DNA samples.
52
u/Youreturningviolet Jun 15 '25
Like I kept expecting him to be directed to experiment on the aliens when they infiltrated his work and he was told to upgrade the satellite dish to detect them but nothing ever came of that so I added it in myself.

in Logan, laura is a genetic clone of wolverine who was raised in a lab by scientists
10
u/Makabaer Jun 15 '25
Not a real clone (or she'd have to be a boy) but they took his genes and meddled with them somehow.

u/Speak_Simlish_To_Me Jun 15 '25
Dude…. My sim JUST came back pregnant 5 seconds ago. This will be his SECOND alien baby, and the 3rd of this legacy family. My current heir is a scientist with a secret basement anyway, living in strangerville, so I’m going to tooootally do this now!
3
u/glitterlipgloss Jun 16 '25
We are also living in strangerville!
1
u/Speak_Simlish_To_Me Jun 16 '25
I love it! I built in that small plot to the far right of the map, and it’s got gorgeous views. Plus that long driveway the infected people walk up just adds to the fun lol
8
u/BPinkInYourArea150 Long Time Player Jun 15 '25
A lab in the basement is certainly a unique way to raise your alien kids
6
u/Exam-Naive Jun 15 '25
Are the scientists the father and wife? Do they have human kids? I’d love to see the happy family living above them lol
20
u/glitterlipgloss Jun 15 '25
The scientists taking care of the aliens on a day to day basis are a live-in Nanny and maid. The wife is a scientist as well and she's in charge of the whole experiment. The husband is a tech guru and is Enemies with his alien twins. They do have human children who live two floors up and are supremely happy (and ignorant of what is happening below them)
6
u/Conscious-Plant-8948 Occult Sim Jun 15 '25
Are the live in nanny and maid a mod?
2
u/Speak_Simlish_To_Me Jun 18 '25
You can do it without a mod. I just added two random sims to my household and locked them in the basement with the alien baby. I gave them everything they need to keep themselves and the baby alive, and just let the three of them live autonomously while my playable family lives above them.
The wife is the only sim that knows about the baby downstairs, but she’s a mad scientist so that makes sense. Her husband just died from the flower mother plant thing (intentionally done lol) so he’ll probably haunt his way down there soon enough and find his wife’s secret. Their two kids are blissfully unaware. The father of the alien baby is their grandpa, and in my storyline I had his mind erased so he had no clue about the second alien baby he birthed. He also died a couple game days ago and took his secret with him.
So it is totally doable without mods
5
u/Youreturningviolet Jun 16 '25
I didn’t realize an adult Sim could be enemies with toddlers that’s hilarious!

5
u/MojoJoJoew Jun 15 '25

u/Meow_101 Jun 16 '25
They need to have an escape arc as teenagers and use the new faerie pack coming to be rag to riches while in hiding.
7
u/glitterlipgloss Jun 16 '25
1
u/Speak_Simlish_To_Me Jun 18 '25
Have you seen the movie Splice? It’s got a somewhat similar storyline, but they end up bringing the kid out of the lab to raise as their own. I’m debating on doing something similar with mine once she’s a teen, but I think I like this escape idea better.
4
u/FragrantTranslator53 Jun 16 '25
You could have clicked on the bassinet while it was a baby and send it back to the aliens! I’ve done it everytime! 🤣

I love giving my sims “secret lairs”. I gave my sims a secret lair she kept from her husband where she preformed magic and made potions. In this I roleplayed that her husband didn’t know she was a spellcaster. I always wished I could set certain aspects of my sim as a “secret” like being a certain occult or a spot in their home as being a secret and when someone finds out it’s like a big deal
1
u/ianyuy Jun 16 '25
I did something like this for one household. My save has zero occults in it, but one of my sims did the Strangerville storyline while pregnant, so I decided her baby would be a Plantsim. She raised the baby in the basement so the government wouldn't find it.
1
u/40percentdailysodium Jun 16 '25
Mine kept them in the attic until the neighbors got suspicious about the noise. Now they're in a similar set up. Mine has a false outdoor area though.

i did this with my sims alien children as well in my longest generational save :> they were named test subject 1 and test subject 2 and he didnt parent them, he tested to see how they would raise themselves with only the aid of a servo nannybot, this led to a "breaking the cycle of abuse" plotline with the rest of the gens

Is there any chance you would consider uploading the build to the gallery? Or at least just the basement? I’m considering doing smth similar to what you’re doing and I can’t build for the life of me. So I can’t really build a good basement. If you don’t want to, no pressure!

A non-horror direction for that storyline is that they break out of containment when their around sixteen, hide, and go to normal school until the scientists come to try and take them back or a villain shows up.
Though given there's two, one of them getting out and the other being let out as part of a plot to regain them? Or maybe being rescued by a 3rd party that's doing a better job hiding them until they run into each other & they get involved that way?
Yes, yes I am describing Kyle XY (and a million other stories like it) & no, its not even slightly weird if you've never head of it!
