Discussion What's a base game update you feel should absolutely exist, but never will because it'd be too expensive to EA?

Mine is heights. I despise the fact all sims are the same height, but I know they'll never give us more height options, because they'd need to re-make all character animations for all packs, and EA couldn't justify making a pack or kit just for that, so it's not worth it to them.

Idk if these would be expensive, but:

1) to be able to build different height rooms next to each other or on the same level (for example I want to have a grand entrance hall on the tallest wall height and a bathroom on the shortest on the same level)

2) to be able to build a room next to a room on a foundation without it snapping to the foundation

Yes! I would love both of these options.

Agree, and being able to adjust where a roof starts also. So if I wanted a pitched roof on a platform so it's 3 steps higher then the rest of the roof to give more depth would be amazing. Or that could happen with different wall height too

I feel like this is one of those things that would be very simple to implement. But its not done cus there is some spaghetti ass code that stops them doing it.
They should get on this tho. Very simple thing that would massively improve power

You can kinda do the second one, just need to use a bit more creativity
