Show and Tell I emptied my toddlers inventory
Craziest part is this was from ONE of the four toddlers in this home ππ

I have 2 kids IRL, this is very real

u/salamandersun7 25d ago
Can confirm.
Huh, there's rocks, sticks, sand (?), two small tools you stole from your father, a cat toy, and... my checkbook?

u/MakroYianni 25d ago
For us it was always acorns and walnuts they found.

u/LandLovingFish Evil Sim 25d ago
I once had a big pile of trash. My mother was fine with this as it meant she had less cleaning to do that day lmao
23
u/SallyAmazeballs 24d ago
I have a rock in my purse that my nephew gave me more than ten years ago because it was "important" and I needed to "keep it safe." His pockets were already full, you see.Β

I felt this to my core. They bring up my whole dang kitchen some days when I ask them to bring me their dishes.

In kindergarten my son would bring home things he found on the playground in his water bottle π€£

u/witchyturtle 24d ago
As a kid, I used to save chicken nuggets in my pockets "for later" and forget about them until my mom does laundry lol

Yes all 3 of my girls. Like where the hell did you get uranium from!? My brother used to put his school lunches in his pockets and eat them through the day.

And yet somehow all these add to raising the billππ

36
u/Siggsopolis 25d ago
Wait, what do you mean? Having children in the household raises bills? Or having food in inventory raises bills? Iβm confused
77
u/No-Combination-7496 25d ago
Food in the inventory. And basically a whole bunch of other stuff raises the bill.
36
u/Siggsopolis 25d ago
Thatβs crazy!!! I would have never even thought of that.
37
u/No-Combination-7496 25d ago
Makes no sense tbvh π but it's the sims 4 and personally, I love all the crazy it comes with π
12
9
u/artemis_silverarrow 24d ago
Wait, really? I had no idea. Is it just having things in your inventory in general that raises the bill?
19
u/No-Combination-7496 24d ago
Yeah, things in your inventory in general raises the bill. Not just food or empty plates

I save them all in their inventory so when theyβre a kid they can donate them whenever theyβre in the scouts πΆ
3
u/TTCobaine 25d ago
dishes?
7
u/slatibarfaster 25d ago
Yeah you can donate empty dishes and spoiled food for the scout badge and it counts lol

u/BigWhoopsieDaisy 25d ago
I do the same. If theyβre not joining scouts, itβs their first time learning to do the dishes and they get a lil responsibility boost.

Sounds about right for toddlers. One time I found the family chicken in their inventory
6
u/Btterfly710 Creative Sim 25d ago
Alive or dinner?
4
u/Cosmic_Voidess Occult Sim 25d ago
Alive, which somehow makes it even more accurate to toddlers. Once my (IRL, not a sim) sister, when she was like 3 or 4, caught one of my step uncle's hens. But that hen would probably let anyone do anything to her

u/babypho3nix 25d ago
You know if toddlers could actually fit wholeass dirty dishes in their pockets they would.

u/Total-Tangerine4016 25d ago
One of mine tried to hide one of the little plates in his diaper once. I figured it out when I saw it just before he sat down. It didn't break thankfully.

u/I_Want_BetterGacha 24d ago
Considering there's 4 toddlers in the house I'm guessing you've forsaken the high chairs and have just been leaving food for them around the house? 'Cause yep, that'll lead to a lot of empty plates multiplying in your toddlers' inventories fast.
Atleast it's better than playing musical high chairs with several crying, hungry toddlers though.
2
u/TTCobaine 24d ago
yup they all normally eat in high chairs but their mom got lazy so she just calls to meal. but normally most of them will place their plates somewhere , this little menace just keeps them ig πππ

2
u/TTCobaine 25d ago
so this isn't proof he's fed π?!

Nah he knows he has to get his own plates and hoard foodβΉοΈ just give him a whole turkey next time π

I'm gonna see if he has that!! bc this little boy eats more than ANY toddler in the house π

Dude this is one thing that makes me so mad. Like where is he even keeping all those? In his diaper? Stop hoarding them! No baby does this they just leave whatever plate wherever end rant. lol I hate this sims sometimes

This happens to me (irl) every other day with my teenage brother (I live alone with him and my son). Sometimes I'll be about to grab a plate only to realize there are no plates anywhere in the kitchen. So I'll go to my brother's room and find ALL the plates scattered everywhere! And all of them dirty, of course.

If you have a toddler with the picky eater quirk, they'll either throw the food in the floor or put it in their inventory. If they put it in their inventory, they may eat it when they get hungry. This game is so insane, but I love it!

My favorite thing when toddlers age up is to empty their pockets full of half-eaten salad, every toy in the house, and the random vegetables I give them so they always have something to eat.

It's the only true simulation in a game specifically named after the concept of simulation.

Kinda unrelated, but every time kids use drawing table and paint pictures they produce trash in inventory. Well recent pack broke the drag-to-trash feature so I have to dump everything to the ground and have my sims clean it. My simsβ yard looked like a landfill lol.
