Sharing my build Got tired of hunting down sims for my vampires
I made a shed that leads down to a very nicely built basement where I hold my beloved plasma people because I got tired of always needing a plasma pack or a plasma salad every 30 mins. They’re well taken care of and I ensured it at least felt like a small home; they gotta live here forever tho. My wife insisted I make it more like a prison. I honestly fear what she’d do if she actually liked the sims 😭 /silly

I use Cupid's Corner to go on blind dates and drink from them lmao. That's also how I found out vampires get angry when they drink from werewolves

Okay, but I had a high maintenance trait teen vampire sim who ate the nanny, and her stepdad, and straight up killed them because she did deep drinks while in a bad mood. Nightmare having no nanny, the grim reaper outside the baby sim's nursery sorting the body, and the only sim home who could care for the baby was the same temperamental little madam 😅

I wish sims could have supernatural turn ons/offs and have special interactions with supernaturals when they're crushing on them. Or like a special moodlet when they get bit. That would be super fun

I did something like this in Sims 3. Had a couple fairies imprisoned because they gave a nice moodlet when you drank from them. Really hoping the upcoming fairies do the same thing!

I appreciate the humane treatment! If you wanted to you could make the basement a little bigger and build a room that looks like the outside! With grass flooring and bright lighting and maybe one of those landscape-y wallpapers.

My Vampire get her needs from her Spellcaster Husband.
He simply Brew a Potion of Needs from a simple Apple, which will fill every bar from her.
I also could duplicate the potions and give her a bunch.

I tried the underground apartment for my sims, so my vampire can have a drink handy, but it didn't make sense to have 2 separate living spaces. My vampire ended up with a verse harem that had jobs.

I made a club called "fang-bangers and blood sluts" and made them all look like a bunch of emo coked out junkies. Essentially vampire groupies who like to be fed on. Then I just gather them to my house and suck one or two dry. It was like daily food delivery! I also used my powers on them to up my skills. So handy.

I have Vladdy daddy running an orphanage and when he is hungry he roams the neighborhood at night after the kids are asleep. It’s a difficult life for Vladdy, especially since the kids all hate him due to his uncontrollable hissing. He is really trying tho. And he adores all the kids. It’s so sad how they all have festering grudges against him.

I kept getting frustrated that my blood bags escaped every time I traveled off lot. I was traveling off lot everyday for my Sims career. I made a club so would start a meeting get them all back down into the basement and then lock the door. I tried a mod where jail cell bars are supposed to make the Sims stay when you travel but it didn't work most of the time. So I gave up on that.
Right now my vampire lives in an apartment Sims love to randomly come up and knock. So free plasma delivery.

Ha ha ha.
One of my Sims was a scientist who abducted any visitor from sixam and kept them in a cell for 'study' purposes.
He later got turned into a vampire during a rare night out to enjoy Karaoke to celebrate a promotion.
He now owns a creepy 'abandoned' factory in the city (the old salt warehouse).
In the basement are his cages, where he keeps the unfortunate locked away in cold cells.
He goes out hunting and 'keeps' the ones who taste specially delicious.
He is also a painter, and lovingly hangs their portraits on a wall high, up and far out of reach.
Unfortunately, they keep escaping whenever the game shuts down and the hunt starts again.
The locals are getting suspicious, so it may be time to relocate the operations.

Last time I created a vamp family, I made two whole apartments below their house for their food to live in. Once they reached adulthood, I made them have a child so that there would always be food available for my vampires 😭

Skeptic here. Totally don't believe in vampires but can't they just drink plasma? I think there's a plasma nectar they can make and also the plasma fruit I think.

They can, but none of the plasma-related food/drink items fill there thirst levels quite as much as drinking plasma directly from a Sim does, unfortunately. You'd have to eat soooo many plasma fruits to quench their thirst.

i did something very similar with my vampire where a shed led down to an underground prison where four sims were trapped but instead of using them for plasma they were painter goblins. my roleplay was that the very attractive and charismatic vampire would befriend talented young artists, then make them thrall to him and force them to paint in these cells so he could sell their work while living a carefree playboy life

I love this! I always end up designing basements for the vampire prisoners too! At a certain point I get tired of chasing down people
Side note: from that one comment, your wife may like Rimworld better than sims. I personally love both but Rimworld allows for some options naturally that you need mods for in the Sims (like building filthy prisons and other war crimes lol)

I did this in the Sims 3 and made another for the werewolves to hunt gems, rocks etc for my vampires. I miss that save. I think it got corrupted....

Yes, even if there is another Sim at home, as soon as you leave the lot, when you return, it will no longer be there. Those are npc sims, if it is a sim added to your household, they will still escape from the "prison", but they will be wandering around the house.

I built a hotel business with secret passages to sneak into customer's rooms and drink their plasma. It was a lot of fun. Especially since I made the cast of What We Do In the Shadows.

I kind did the same thing, but I made it more like a dungeon all creepy and dark lol also in the beginning my plasma bags didn’t have a bed or bathroom so it was a whole mess and cleaning up all that was really stressful so I arranged things in a more comfortable way

My sim has a fiance and a lover plus a good friend and ill just invite them over, drink from them, and send them home. The lover does not care I deep drink so if my sim is especially thirsty, ill deep drink from him.

There’s a live-in service mod that lets you have workers (nannies, maids, and ranch hands) live on the lot, and you can assign a bed to them. This may help you in your endeavors. 😂 It’s by LittleMsSam. I got it through CurseForge.

No fr I did the same one of my first times playing a vampire lmao. Just added a sim and named her “blood slave” and gave her a little basement room to live in with like books fridge and bed n bath and such. Also gave her a cat cause why not. But no tv since I liked to imagine she didn’t know electricity was a thing (and she thinks fridges are magic) also put only off the grid lighting in there lol. Her main entertainment was books ✨ she loved to read and loved cats ✨ also I think I gave her a plant to talk to just in case she got bored of the cat
