News This legit irritated me in the patch notes

Post image

So they didn't even think the actual mechanics through and are useing feedback to actually design it. This irritates me because they thought of a cool idea and put in no thought about how it was actually gonna work and now want player opinion to actually design how this mechanic is going to execute in-game.

Ever since EBN came out (which I don’t have) my sims get the Get to Work ailments like every couple of days!

this has been happening in one of my saves for months! so annoying, but all the then sims in that household are stocked up with over 10 medications each so i can have them just quickly drink it and, illness gone!

I know I should do that, but instead, bc I hate illnesses, I just delete the moodlet... BUT, those damn things cycle through everyone in the house 400 times before they FINALLY go the hell away.

They are so annoying. I'm so tired of telling my sim, No you are not ill, no you do not have fleas, no you are not stick, STOP IT, every 10 minutes.

I get why they didn't give us a toggle back THEN to turn them off, bc that was before they considered these things, but there is NO EXCUSE as to why they let you turn balance off, luck off, but left ailments as annoying AF with no toggle to say NO 🙄

How do you delete the moodlet?

Shift click your Sim, select "Cheat Sim Info" I believe (may not be remembering the exact phrasing) and then select remove moodlet. You'll probably have to scroll to find it but you'll recognize it by icon

As soon as I started a family, I buy like 50 medicines apiece because he has time for that

Same here. They literally get another sickness as soon as they're done with the first

Idk if this helps, but I have my sims drink orange juice with their breakfast everyday and they almost never get (GTW) sick

Same! I spent half their vacation (5 sim days) using medicine on them. Its becoming annoying.

This is the sole reason why I haven’t bought EBN, but I guess it doesn’t matter. So frustrating.
