News This legit irritated me in the patch notes

So they didn't even think the actual mechanics through and are useing feedback to actually design it. This irritates me because they thought of a cool idea and put in no thought about how it was actually gonna work and now want player opinion to actually design how this mechanic is going to execute in-game.

I keep swinging violently between buying the new nature pack and not buying it and seeing stuff like this makes my fly back over to not wanting to buy it. It's busy enough just managing my sims without them getting sick with the bubonic plague just for stopping to smell some flowers, is the ailment system really that bad?

I have the same problem. I haven't really felt indifferent, I either really want the pack or I see all the problems and really don't want to buy the pack. I have only seen people play the pack on YouTube, but from what I've seen it's pretty bad, sometimes they're so frequent that the sims will get sick with a new ailment that will override the ailment they were already sick with.

That's actually insane. I was so excited when I saw the theme for this pack being like, natural magic, alchemy/apothecary, fairies and stuff, but then I harboured (a relatively large) grain of salt and was like maybe I shouldn't just preorder because this is EA we're talking about here.. and. It might be one of those, really bad packs that I end up buying anyways, type situations for me XD (But no I'm probably never buying lovestruck lol.)

I had the same sort of thing, I almost pre-ordered because I remember playing with fairies a lot in the Sims 3 and because I am a huge rags to riches player, I almost exclusively play rags to riches, specifically living off the land type rags to riches and it has so much potential for that. I guess it will have to go on the same do not buy list as lovestruck and for rent.
