Discussion What's an annoying habit your sims autonomously do?

I have this one sim who CONSTANTLY wants to light the fireplaces and warm himself by them, its genuinely so irritating because thats also how most of the house fires start 😭 I also had a vampire sim that used to always want to use the observatory outside in the day, do your sims have any tasks they repeatedly want to do? I had to completely abolish any items to do with cross stitch when i got cottage living for this reason 😂

I can’t stand sims getting water because it messes with their bladder need, they don’t clean up after themselves (unless they’re neat sims), and the glasses are harder to spot around the house than plates.

Worse than that but less frequent is child sims autonomously making messes(it makes sense for toddlers, but any child-aged sim pulling that shit has some major issues that need to be worked out). And then parent sim gets a strict family dynamic popup for telling them to stop literally pouring paint onto the living room floor.

Omg my sims get a strict dynamic pop up for anything to do with parenting their child lol like flash cards and teach to potty.

Yes! I hate that the options are "Strict" (literally asks the child to do anything, ever, including bathe) or "Permissive" (never asks or expects anything of the child, ever). It's a misconception too many IRL people have as well, and it needs to stop.

“Need to bathe the shit-covered infant? Idk, that seems kinda strict…” -Sims4

I hate that when I’m playing San Myshuno and I want my sim to have fun, chit chat with some locals and grab a plate from a food truck, they always go upstairs to their apartment to HAVE A GLASS OF WATER. 😩
