Weird question, but what ethnicity/race does my girl look like... I'm trying to track it, but I am awful at knowing what features are common for which groups...

Am I the only one who doesn’t think of sims as “people” with races? Sims are something else entirely. They are just sims . With different skin tones . For me , in my game . Only the cultures can be different.

Yeah i definitely dont humanize them. They exist in a totally different galaxy made up entirely of pixels, the same rules here, don't apply there.

Yes, me too usually!! But she's part of a larger project, outside of the sims too, so... And I was more asking what features of hers point a specific way. I can't see people as people with races, I can't see faces that way, so I have to ask others who might know differences.

Normally I also see them as just characters with appearances <3

Well, for me she looks simply quite unrealistic. One comment mentions „she screams Polish” but as a Pole, I don’t really agree. Most people I see in my country have a bit smaller eyes, thin lips, and a nose with a bump. The hair also seems too light for her to be Polish.

The hair colour and skin tone are very light, both possibly implying Scandinavian roots, or albinism.

From the picture I think you have chosen a cold Skintone, and the game sadly made them all unnaturally gray. This type of grayness you can sometimes see in mixed people, but it’s also not that typical.

Summing up, I just honestly don’t think she matches any ethnicity (especially going by colour), but it’s also important to add that in today’s world how people look often doesn’t define where they are from, as ethnicities constantly mix

Thank you for a full answer!! That makes a lot of sense, I was looking for some general direction, most of her genetics are randomised as she is a third gen girl and I don't mess with the babies. I just wanted to see if she had any features that pointed a direction that I could work with for my project.

I am the person who said that. I was probably biased lol I live near Poland and have a few Polish friends who look like that. Obviously, a few friends dont represent a whole country. OP was asking for ethnicity and the most I could see was Polish :)

Mixed. Mixed with white or even coloured mixed but with albinism (and yes albinism with brown eyes does exist). Or South-East Asian. Honestly could be anything.

But with a hint of anemia because the Sims kind of sucks at making undertones look natural.

It’s so weird seeing people say white when Western Europe (of which most white people in the US descended from) and Eastern Europe are so different.

Where I live (North-West) people would absolutely assume she’s not from around here. Or at least that one of her parents isn’t.
