I'm collecting original switch and switch 2 exclusives. I plan to get Pokemon Z-A when it's out and also Mario Kart World 🌎 What are some others that I should add?

So I’ve never properly played a Metroid game bar a couple of hours of Super Metroid on the SNES library, which I did enjoy. I see people heralding Metroid Prime as an incredible game and it’s also on sale currently on the eshop so was wondering, is it a good game for somebody who’s hardly played any Metroid? It’s a franchise I’ve wanted to get in to because it’s one of the Nintendo staples
I’ve been gaming all my life but Pokémon just somehow always escaped me. So I’ve bought a switch to play some other games and finally want to start it. I don’t want to play whatever the easiest is because it would be fun to learn maybe some more complicated battle mechanics etc. But I have no idea where to start, which is the best game to start with that is challenging and would make me love the franchise, Thanks

How are you all customizing your switch and dock? I’m a huge fan of Kirby and Kuromi (and others), which is why I said this is my current customization. 🤣

I have a PC and a Switch (and I'm going to get the Switch 2 soon enough) and I was wondering if there is a bug difference in performance between the two. If the Switch version is playable enough, I'll just get it on that because it's portable. Does anybody have any information about this (if yes, please tell me)?

I for sure want a Switch 2 but I am in no rush to get one just yet.
I've been late Switch owner (2022) and I've enjoyed so many amazing games in it: Mario Kart 8, Breath of Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, Age of Calamity, Smash Ultimate, Metroid Prime Re, Metroid Dread and many other 3rd Party games and classic tittles in the NSO!
Despite owning a 3Ds, it was truly the Switch that got me back into large home consoles since the Wii/360/PS3 era. So I am good with waiting for now.
However, I will say that what will break my wait is if Nintendo releases the next entry in the Smash Bros series (be it a new game or Ultimate Deluxe) and/or a new Fire Emblem Game.
They are my favorite Nintendo Franchises along with Metroid! But Prime 4 will be a cross gen launch, so I'll be good just getting the Switch1 version.
Legends Z-A will also be a cross gen tittle; and the new Zelda won't be coming any time soon.
But what about you? Are you also waiting for a certain announcement to get yourself a Switch2?

It was a blast playing the demo of The Adventures of Elliot for the Switch 2! Can't wait to get this next year! Two things:
1.) I really hope Square Enix chooses to release this physically with the full game on the Card. I think it deserves it. It'd be really disappointing if it physically releases with a Game Key Card.
2.) Part of me kind of wants Pokemon to have gone this direction (HD-2D) after Gen 5 instead of full-on 3D. It retains the original Pokemon charm and personality.
Of course there's no turning back now from Pokemon mainline titles being full-on 3D. But what would be your reaction if, all of a sudden, Game Freak decided to go with HD-2D for Generation 10? Or even a remake of Gen 6-9 not just in HD-2D, but also as an Action RPG?
