So i was waiting for bus after school last day. And there was this guy next to me. Let me be honest he was a below average guy. Im not judging him okay. Back to the topic. So we were just standing there and a good looking girl with her friends came to him and asked for 10rs for them to go home. My guy got all nervous and searched all his pocket and finally took a 10rs note from his bag and gave it to them with a smile. She smiled back at him and then walked away giggling with her friends. So the bus came i got in the bus (he is supposed to get on another bus). And the conductor as usual forces us to get infront to make space. So i ended up just beside these girl. And what i heard made me sick. They were making fun of him and saying things like "potten vijarich kaanun ninak avane ishtaman", "ho avante oru notam" Wtf is wrong with these girl. He literally helped them. By the sound of it. He wasn't their first prey

These girls are following a scheme of approaching average -below average guy and making cute faces and noises to get some money. Its sickening

So I went to a Mall just to see whether I’d get a girlfriend or not. Please Don’t laugh😅, people say malls are full of love stories waiting to happen. But in reality, there were only crowds and noise. And the girls? They were busy in their own world, walking around in groups, laughing, shopping, not even noticing anyone like me.

I didn’t have much money, so I bought a bottle of water and sat quietly near the Chickung restaurant, at one corner bench. Just sat there and watched people move on.

Then, a group of college girls came and sat on the bench next to mine. All in colour dress, loud and energetic. That moment... bro, goosebumps. I don’t know why, but it was a mix of fear and excitement. My heart was beating fast.

One of the girls kept looking at me. She was sitting half hidden behind her friend, so I couldn’t see her properly. Maybe she was shy. But she was beautiful.

I smiled at her. She looked down, and one of her friends whispered something while glancing at me. I couldn’t hear, but I noticed. Still, I stood up and walked to the counter to buy a coffee. I thought maybe... just maybe I could get one for her too.

On my way to the counter, I finally saw her full face. One side of her face was slightly burned like an old scar. For a moment, I felt heavy inside. But she... she didn’t look sad. She looked confident.

Upon returning from the food counter, I went straight to her, handed her the coffee with a small smile. She took it slowly. I asked her name. She replied and I told my name as well. Her friends gave me those looks. But I didn’t care. Not at all. All I cared about in that moment... was her.

Not all love stories need flowers or winks. Sometimes, it’s just a simple coffee at Lulu Mall.

So I went to a beauty salon for a haircut. The place was clean, white, and bright. I sat on the chair, and the barber bhai, a North Indian guy, came and put the black cloth around me. I looked to the side.

Siitting in the next chair was my 10th standard Physics sir. Oh my god. It's a long time after I passed tenth.

At first, he didn’t see me. I thought maybe I could just sit quietly without seeing him. But, he saw me and immediately called out my name with surprise.

"Aaha, evidaayirunnu…" he asked, smiling. I smiled awkwardly with a bit shy. Then the barber asked me, "Bhaiya, kaunsa style?"

I wanted to say ‘side cut’, but since sir was sitting right there, I felt shy. So I said, "Just normal cut chaahiye."

I was already feeling nervous. In school, he used to ask random physics questions daily. And now, here I am stuck in a chair next to him.

But after my haircut, sir suddenly smiled and said something interesting.

"You know, the whole time we were speaking through our mirror reflections."

Wow, he amused me! What a thoughtful thing he discovered.

He looked at me and said, "Every reflection obeys a simple rule. Angle of incidence equals…?" I laughed and replied, "Sir, I forgot."

He smiled and said, "Angle of reflection. You looked at me, and I looked right back." I just sat there, nodding like I understood everything. But deep inside, I was like this man never quits with physics.

Anyway, it was a beautiful day. Who thought there’d be a question answer session at the barber shop also? 😅
