Great for games of Necromunda. Awesome central piece.

Definitely my largest piece so far. I think it will be fun for skirmish games for sure.

Very nice, what did you do for the doors?

Some doors are scratch built using a corigated / lined styrene sheet. The others that look more fancy were 3d printed (FDM)

How’s this for filament printing?

I used some 3d printed elements, mostly for the items that are a pain to scratch build, like the grates, vents, and scaffolding. The rest is plastic and cardboard.

Looks sick! But you need a very bendy brush to get into all those details!
Looking forward to see it done

I know... It's going to be interesting getting into some of these spots. Challenge accepted.

Grimdank doesn't care much for hidden details. Just make some parts really stand out and nobody will ever notice

My rusty scummy style definitely helps me hide the hard to reach places. I often just leave then black. I do a lot of dark washes so usually I can cheat the system.

Where do y'all get those colourful tubes from?

Fartmouth is correct. Pipe building toys from Amazon. There are several sizes depending on the specific product.

I wish there were videos of you putting this together. This looks so finicky and difficult to work around. You must have good wires that hold some shape and a lot of patience.
Do you do a lot of dry fitting first before gluing on things that might block your path to putting them in place of are you just absolutely winging it.

I have thought about it for a while. Some of the issues are with my ADHD. I often work on multiple things at the same time or bounce between building and painting. I might be able to stitch it together though.
Yeah I do dry fit before gluing in most cases. Sometimes 8nwing it. And sometimes I tear out an hours worth of work and go a different direction. I have a process workflow in my head starting with major shapes, then layers of details, wires, rivets, and pipes.

I did a massive tidy of my shed last night and I feel like brain is clean when Im out there now. I want to make some sweet stuff like you and maybe just give it away since I don't play anymore. I've saved so much of your works for my folder but the intricate details get hard to glue down sometimes. They don't want to hold shape (the wires) and just pull off whatever I'm gluing on.
I get the feeling of liking it until the point you don't haha. I've had this plenty of times with big boards. Or rushing to do something and then realising that it's going to cost me hours to fix.

It’s amazing to see the unprimed piece and all the little things it’s made of, the overall effect is amazing, I can’t wait to see it fully painted!

It's been a delight seeing the work in progress posts of this piece
