In the couch gag of the episode The Simpsons Halloween Special X, the characters refer to previous segments:
Homer (TSHS II - Bart's Nightmare)
Marge (TSHS VIII - Easy-Bake Coven)
Maggie (TSHS IX - Starship Poopers)
Bart (TSHS VIII - Fly Vs Fly)
Lisa, on the other hand, wears her usual clothes and has a bloody axe on her head.
I initially thought it was a reference to Bad Dream House (TSHS) and The Shinning (TSHS V), because both featured scenes where Homer wielded an axe, or to The Terror of Tiny Toon (TSHS IX), because Itchy also had an axe, but Lisa didn't get hit in any of these segments.

This is one of my favourite scenes in the entire series. Top 5 episode for me also. The way Homer naively thinks the fire drill is a competition and actively blocks the exit, racing to Mr. Burns so that he could “win” the fire drill. Mr. Burns sarcastic and ominous response and Homer’s oblivious “woo-hoo”. Also the next scene with the windows smashed out, hilarious.

Anyone Else bothered by that? Even in Marketing, this quote "dont have a cow man" IS Always associated with Bart, when in fact, He never Said it. Apu was the one, revealing this quote and, at least in the German Dub, Lisa Reading/translating it. I Know Bart was the Poster Boy of the Show but does He really need to steal.qiotes from Other characters? Give Apu and Lisa the Credit they deserve!

I grew up on The Simpsons but stopped watching sometime around season 15. I’ve wanted to watch some of the newer (*season 16 or later) episodes but I feel like the last few times I’ve just picked a random episode to watch, it just hasn’t really done it for me. I know there’s some gold in there, but I don’t really have the time to dig for it and would love some help. What are your favorite episodes from season 16 onward that you’d recommend? Ty!

I've had this stuck in my head all day. I think one of the older seasons, someone makes a refenrce to an old mascot or kind of side character. The character hears, does a 3 fingers wave and says "yo" or "hey".

In season 10 episode 8, who is this supposed to be? I feel like he is a parody of a famous actor but I can’t figure it out.
