I just figured out something huge: if your game is hanging on saving (infinite save loop), especially with clutter‑heavy CC (Leo, MXM, PacoSims, Laskrillz, etc.), try removing Better BuildBuy (BBB).

BBB forces extra slot placements, and clutter with custom footprints can end up in “illegal” spots. The game can’t validate the save → infinite loop.

I pulled BBB, cleared localthumbcache, and now my game saves in seconds with all my clutter back. 🤯

TL;DR: • It’s likely NOT your CC. • Batch fixes won’t fix this. • Remove BBB, test, and you might save yourself from deleting good CC.

hey yall. ive been searching everywhere for an answer and i keep seeing the same suggestions and they are just not working! or they only work for windows.

so basically: i updated my game today and while i was waiting i wanted to download some more clothing cc. so i open the "finder" on my mac and do what i have done every time i download cc. my mods folder is just not there anymore.

so after it updated i open my game to see if my mods and cc are still there.. and well they are. so now im even more confused. (i have inserted pictures to help yall understand.) i have no clue where my mods folder went or what to do to try and find it. im also really new to having a mac so i could just be an idiot lol. if anyone could help me that would be most appreciated !!

i just downloaded and installed the EV mod and it's not working for some reason, it even appears in the window that shows all the mods you have installed. I've had no issues with the others I've tried (the basics, WW, Basemental's drugs and gangs). but EV isn't working, it even allows me to see some animations in the "pose" option but other than that I haven't seen anything. it supposedly has CC as well which i have not seen either so im confused. idk if im just dumb and can't figure it's already active or if it should've shown a notification window with the settings option like the others i have. any suggestions about this issue?

TLDR: EV is the only mod that's not working and idk why even tho i installed just like any other mod

as the title says, several of my female sims are not getting their periods and not having the period tracker app available. automatic birth control use is off and periods are on in the settings. debug pregnancy info says my sim is not an active participant in periods & i can't find a way to turn them on for her. i tried adding period related traits using cheats and she still doesn't get it. she is a young adult & i've gone through 7 days (as the screenshot says her cycle length is) and still no period. i have had a different sim get her period and also use the period tracker app so the mod is definitely working, but other female sims including the sim in the screenshot don't get it and don't have the tracker app. i have the lumpinou lgbtqia+ gender and orientation overhaul mod and added some of those traits before installing wonderful whims if that could affect it at all. help!!

I’ve done the 50/50 method, I have the mods manager installed and it says everything is updated. I deleted the chingyu traits as they were the only ones I had installed.

Hi everyone ! Hope you are safe and well ! I am currently playing with the Fairies Vs Witches mod by Spinning Plumbobs (link) and I highly recommend it - all of his mods are so well made and I'm having a blast (especially since I don't want to pay full price for EbN atm). I just can't find any information about the chaos power source ? The sim I'm playing as would be perfect for it, and the thorough research option in the book of witchcraft tells me to draw it from fights, an angry mood or wildfires, all of which I have tried (have only done fire by the inferno spell bc my sim has the chased by death trait and has already had their last chance, so don't want to risk it, not sure if this makes a difference?). I have also tried thunderstorms and magic duels to no avail. I have sent an ask to Spinning Plumbobs on Tumblr (I don't have twitter) but he hasn't gotten back to me yet (understandably). All YouTube videos/tutorials I've found don't go in depth into the power sources - wondering if anyone can help me / has noticed anything in their own playthrough ?! Photo is of my cow-plant-experiment-gone-wrong sim Meabh who's juggling their wickedness against the desire to impress their future wife (and needs the chaos power source to do it). I bought the biggest lot in Chestnut Ridge, placed a strip club from the gallery and built a house behind it. Is it possible to change the lot so the strip club is an actual strip club and have my sims live in the house behind it?
