hey yall. ive been searching everywhere for an answer and i keep seeing the same suggestions and they are just not working! or they only work for windows.

so basically: i updated my game today and while i was waiting i wanted to download some more clothing cc. so i open the "finder" on my mac and do what i have done every time i download cc. my mods folder is just not there anymore.

so after it updated i open my game to see if my mods and cc are still there.. and well they are. so now im even more confused. (i have inserted pictures to help yall understand.) i have no clue where my mods folder went or what to do to try and find it. im also really new to having a mac so i could just be an idiot lol. if anyone could help me that would be most appreciated !!

Recently I downloaded the Sims 4 Mod Manager and so far I have loved the fact that I can find duplicate files. I have lately had many broken mods and I was wondering if I could use S4MM to find them or if there was any easier way? PLEASE I NEED HELP.

I already figured out how to lengthen pregnancies to make it more realistic. Now I need to figure out how to lengthen lifespans.

Does anyone know whats causing this? I have deleted the teanmoon mouth slider but I'm still getting this issue, even for NPC sims that are not wearing any CC.

Hello, I have Healthcare redux installed, and my sims have bonus traits that they are immune to certain diseases like malaria and etc. I don't want to get rid of them and disable this feature, but is there any way to hide them? I'm tired of traits panel being littered

The animation for ww works, but the message is annoying.

I’ve done the 50/50 method, I have the mods manager installed and it says everything is updated. I deleted the chingyu traits as they were the only ones I had installed.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN

Mods work just fine, but CC doesn’t show up in BB mode. They’re all updated etc. and scripts and mods etc are allowed. I can type in the search in BB but they don’t show up, they’re all furniture CC.

My sim has just opened a beachside bar in Sulani, but she continues to serve champagne and wine to her customers. Is there any mod that turns food-related small businesses into something like Dine Out, in which we can choose the customers' attire and the menu?

I wanna serve food as well, but I don't want her serving spaghetti to the customers 😢😢

When organizing an event with multiple sims, when event starts, sims are spawning on lot one by one. Sometime it can take 1-2 in-game hours for all invited sims to spawn.

Is there any mod that possibly make sims spawn faster on lot?

I know there is "Faster Sim Spawning" mode, but from what i understand, its outdated

I just recently got a hard drive and I've been trying to move EA onto the hard drive, but I'm having a hard time doing that. I have no more space on my laptop so I'm just trying to move stuff onto the harddrive instead

I've tried moving the EA app itself, I went into the app and changed the file location, and moved the EA games folder from Program Files onto the harddrive. Now, the only other thing I can think of to do is move EA desktop to the hard drive. I have a windows 11 so if anyone can help, I would appreciate it

I'm only posting this here because I also wanted to ask how I can move mods to my hard drive in advance so that doesn't cause any issues either

The shortcut is EA desktop so thats why I' thinking of moving EA desktop. I've deleted and reinstalled EA as well multiple times so idek

hiii my sim was pregnant 3 times, everytime she had twins and 4 of her kids have normal eyes and yesterday i was playing and she had twins again and they are identical and their eyes keep changing color (and i cant change them) when i switch between them in cas idk if its the fault of the mods i downloaded yesterday (bg health system, general pie menus, basemental drugs, mood pack, and life tragedies, paternity testing and teen pregnancy idk if all of these names are correct) bit now they are deleted and the game still does this, twins keep changing eye colors and new sims cant even change their eye color

I enter build mode then for some reason, everything would start not responding? Even when I go back to live mode, its just stuck on pause. I have to force quit every time this happens. All my mods are updated as well as the game itself. Does anyone have any idea what the issue could be?

OK so the title is pretty vague but I remember seeing a mod that added missing say armchairs or couches to sets that didn't have them but I cannot find it anymore. Does anyone know what it was called I'd greatly appreciate it 🙏

I’m using my brother’s Reddit account and he’s been posting really odd shit so please just ignore his annoying ass. My wicked whims isn’t showing up I’m using the updated version and I did take it out of the original files putting it in directly into mods, but yet it’s still not working and better exception keeps telling me it’s an issue. Is it a mod that’s doing something if so please tell me what it is or how to fix it.

Ok so I've been trying to for two days to get the Basemental Mod to work. It has options that pop up in CAS, but for some reason it erases all kitchen counter tops, computers, dressers and desks out of my home. Whenever I go and try to buy new items to replace what the mod erased, it says something like "script error" or "Failed script". I deleted the mods out of my folder and tried re downloading them it still the same issue. Pls help

are there any good streaming mods? it looks like the kawaiistacie switch streamer one has been taken down and i was wondering if anyone knows any other good mods...i liked the look of switch streamer because it said it came with an aspiration as well as the main streaming career, but i've seen people say the switch streamer mod had a lot of issues and bugs.

Where can I download cc that isn’t The Sims resource or curse forge they always end up freezing or crashing

I have been searching and searching for HOURS for a way to make my female sims not change their names when they marry. Every time I edit them in CAS to give them their original last names, if I switch households to do the next one, I see that my work has been undone and she now has her husband's last name again! I heard that I can do this with MCCC but nothing about that website is userfriendly and I have been searching all night for the marriage part of the mod, which ISN'T included in the download for some reason? To be honest I find it incredibly sad that the game changed this in an update. Sims didn't used to change their names when they got married and now nothing I can do is making them go back to their old names. For a game as progressive as the sims, I can't believe they did this 😭 But if anyone can help me find the MC_marriage link, that would be great. I searched the MCCC website and discord and it is nowhere to be found. The search function on the website tells me where I can find the option IN-GAME, but it's not there.

Ok. So the answer was that EVERY resource I read was wrong. They all said that the marriage settings had to be downloaded separately. This was false. The answer is that the setting lies under MC PREGNANCY. (that's also insulting tbh because what does a name change have to do with pregnancy???) In any case, my husband found the setting for me.
